hii i have exposure three months back i have three hiv ag/ab duo test
first test is at 3 weeeks negative
second test is at 6 week negative
third test is at 11 week 5 days negative
i have canker sores after my exposure which heals and new appears i have also tested negative for syphlis, hepatitis b and c after 3 months.
Ulcers in the mouth sometimes occur in overt AIDS, due either to actual canker sores or other problems that cause similar lesions. However, I stress "overt AIDS". This is not a symptom of early HIV; it is pretty much limited to people with multiple other manifestations of AIDS, mostly in people who are deathly ill. I have never heard of oral ulcers as the only symptom of HIV or of being the very first symptom.

can you get aids or hiv from someone licking and fingering you in the anul? what if that person has a cut or sores in mouth as well as fingers? im asking because i dont know if they did or not. however i would like to cover all the basis. also what if that person is affected as well? someone please help! i havent been to sleep in 24hrs....
No sweetie. She contracted hiv sometime in 2001. She didn't find out til 2009 it was full blown aids. She had mouth sores all the time and skin rashes. But it never crossed her head to go in for a hiv test. She wasn't sexual ly active after that one man who got her infected so she thought she wasn't at risk. When they caught it 5 months later she passed away. Meds didn't help so she was out in hospice care.
in a drunken escapade someone put there tongue in my mouth for a few secounds, I do not know if they have hiv, I am not sure if there were any cuts or sores in my mouth, I don't remember tasting any blood, but I am worried about catching hiv from kissing is this possible, I also have ocd and I think a lot of my worry stems from this

ve been asked this before, but is it possible that in a person with Aids or a person with an advanced stage of Aids would stop making hiv antibodies? Do people with hiv show hiv antibodies for the rest of there life, even in the terminal stage of aids? And is it possible that someone could catch the hiv virus and in 3 years develop aids in an advanced stage if that person where unaware that they where hiv possitive and where not receiving treatment for hiv?
Someone i have had oral sex with has got AIDS this month. I had some episodes last year.If he had sores in his mouth could anything have gone into the urethral lining.I intent to help him but want to put on the oxygen mask first.
Mystified why the urethra is kept safe. Anyone with a little compassion just answer I will not start a thread.

I ended up ending thing a few weeks later and he went off to college and I went my own way. Now I am hearing from a good friend of his that he has AIDs not HIV but AIDs. I am freaking out because I don't know if he had it the night we had our make out session or if he got it later. I didn't have any cuts or sores in my mouth and I don't think he had any in his. But is it possible because I swallowing some of his spit that I could have it?
I want to make it clear that I am well aware that the vast majority of gay men do not have HIV/AIDS, but realistically I also know they are currently more likely to have it in the US. The problem is he spits when he talks and a few times I undoubtedly felt it land in my mouth.
Due to my geographic tongue and my abrasions from biting my tongue/cheek, am I at any risk due to:
1. The tiny amount of HIV that could have been present in his saliva if he was infected

He has gotten these sores all over his body and also had blood in his underwear a few times. My mother took him to the doctor to get the sores tested and when they came back for results my father said he didn't want her in the room. He hasn't told us what it is and when we try to talk about it he ignores it. What could this be? Cancer???
t imagine that there was much skin-to-skin contact, given that I aborted this encounter, but I did not actually see her vagina to notice any open sores; I did notice acne-like sores on her hips that worried me, though.
I plant to be tested for ease of mind in about 6 weeks, but is there any real worry that I can pass an infection on to others? Lets just say I did somehow contract something via skin contact -- when would I be a risk to others?

Hi, is it possible to catch hiv through oral sex with having an extraction done 3 weeks before incident with unprotected oral having had time to heal, and going to dentist on same day as incident with oral sex and having teeth worked on and gums bleed and having little cuts in the mouth. Having unprotected oral w only pre-cum if any. Do sores have to be deep sores for hiv to be transmitted and or do sores have to be bleeding at time of contact to catch hiv?

I am married and its the worst period of my life, since i read about the early symphtoms of Aids and now i have several nodes below my arm (i believe from anxiety) a low sore throath with no muco and well, i am in a neurosys about it. I am avoiding my wife cause i am very concerned about transmition. I swear i will never do that again. Do i have reason to become so paranoic?

Gingivitis (inflamed gums) sometimes occurs in late HIV infection, i.e. in people with full-blown AIDS. It is never the main symptom of a new HIV infection.
I had open mouth kissising if which I don;t know if she had bleeding gums or sores in her mouth what risk would that be. she said that she didn't have bleeding gums.
