I have recently gotten an hiv test which came back indeterminate. I am not a drug user and the last time I had unprotected (oral) sex was seven months ago. I have to wait to test again in a month. Four months ago I received my first shot of a series of three HPV vaccines. Three months ago, I received the following vaccine and I'm due to get the third vaccine in a few months. I also received a TB screen test about three weeks before the hiv test.

Hello Doctor, I was thinking of a new hiv/aids prevention method. It starts with if you cover the externel urethrtal orifice, with some sort of lets say duct tape. Will it help prevent the spreading of HIV. I was wondering since it is the only way vaginal fluid, or any type of bodily fluid could enter via oral, anal sex. We do recommend HPV vaccination for men with multiple partners such as yourself. The reason the the "official" recommendation is for persons under 27 to get the vaccine has to do with cost effectiveness considerations rather than the effectiveness of the vaccine. Your circumstance places you at risk for HPV and thus if it is available, I would recommend it.
