I know that this is not the typical types of questions you get in this forum, however, it is related to HIV prevention since I am trying to prevent myself from becoming positive by making the wrong decisions.
gotta get some time clean to clear your head now. i hate the slogans, but you need to avoid people, places and things that made you use before. keep posting.

Praying and letting people you don't know and haven't voted for represent you isn't going to help, I don't think. Did you elect thw people running WHA to speak for you?
The CREW complaint is based, in part, on the affidavit of former campaign aide David Keegan, who said that in 2009 O'Donnell was out of money and paid her landlord two months rent from campaign funds. O'Donnell called the expenditures "expense reimbursements" on FEC forms.
According to Keegan, O'Donnell used campaign cash for meals and gas, and even a bowling outing.
I'm also wondering if there's some website that might tell me where the various candidates stand in their past support of HIV, since I figure that if they have a good history with supporting HIV/AIDS research that they might care about HCV. Anyway, any info would be appreciated. I hope that this will not end up being a debate because that's not what I'm looking for.

One might have thought that this was precisely the reason for “independent fact-checkers” – to intervene quickly to prevent the American electorate from being misled. But the major “fact-checking” groups mostly stayed on the sidelines, much as their predecessors did in Campaign 2000 when Al Gore was facing similar distortions.
For 10 days, right-wing talkers, Mitt Romney and the attack ads had pretty much free rein to circulate this calculated lie and deceive millions of Americans.
I carry that picture EVERYWHERE with me now. That won't change in the future and trying to prevent more damage has been my life changing momenet!
I just read your other thread and there are not enough words to say WOWOWOWOW Congrats certainly isn't enough. What a long road but my God how worth it.

If you recall there was a great need for action during the AIDS epidemic. The FDA has to look at the scope and magnitude of this drug and our situation and factor that into their timetable.
Speaking of HIV and AIDS. That group of infected people really shook things up. They got some media attention, they wrote letters, petitions, their congressmen and they took to the streets.
...........And the government acted.
Then there is us with HCV; the SILENT KILLER.

I have to take exception to a comment written here, that states your addiction cannot be controlled.
Drug addiction like many disorders have organic and inorganic properties. The organic aspects of drug adiction for most of us is the physical dependence and psychological components.
Fortunate for us the physical dependence aspect of opiate addiction is very self-limited, non-life threatening, and of relative short duration.
We have come along way, with HIV education, but mainly, because The Gay Community stood up, and marched, and shouted slogans, etc. They organized together, as a group.
Today I am wearing one of those rubber bracelets, it is yellow and in red writing it says, "Hep C can be cured" I have had two people tell me that it cant be cured, and that I am B.S.
These are jokes about death and cancer. I found them funny and most of you have a great sense of humor so....taking a chance.
Three buddies were talking about death and dying. One asked, "When you're in your casket and friends and family are mourning you, what would you like to hear them say about you?"
The first guy says, "I would like to hear them say that I was a great doctor of my time and a great family man.
