advair

Avatar f tn I have the paragard. It's a copper non hormonal iud. I've had it since the beginning of February. I had the strings cut again on my check up, but other than that I've had no issues. It's my favorite birth control that I've used.
Avatar f tn I hope they can help you with your pain .... am 27 years old and I was on birth control since I was in the 8th grade because of my period... I was in a lot pain where it hurt to even walk or get out of bed.. finally last month may 9th I had to have a full hysterectomy....
Avatar f tn Birth control is not 100% effective, but advil isn't going to effect birth control.
Avatar f tn Birth control or abstinence. That's it. You risk pregnancy otherwise. please don't play around with this stuff. Why can't you get condoms? If you are old enough to have sex or mature enough, you should be able to get condoms.
Avatar f tn s chart(due to going off Birth Control) I have had pretty normal cycles. I used ovulation sticks last month to confirm on top of rising temps that I did ovulate. And this month, I felt signs of ovulation but I am on Day 20 and still nothing. Could this be due to a badly broken large toe? I have tried to look up broken bones and their effect on ovulation but have not found anything. I am hoping it is delayed to this reason and am looking for some info/answers. Can a broken bone effect ovulation?
2032629 tn?1329618488 hey, have you tried skin to skin breast feeding instead of pumping for a little bit. by pumping you are encouraging more milk and at a rate that the baby doesn't control itself. i think i would defer this question to the breast feeding forum here. they are full of information and great tips. perhaps one of the ladies there will be more helpful.
1742269 tn?1315381633 This is absorbed faster by the body and helps control migraine symptoms faster also. If this does not help, check with your doctor for proper management. Take care always.
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm 24 and I've never really had a regular period. I've also been to the emergency room twice with menstrual pain. They've never done a sonogram and I don't believe in hormonal birth control. I just don't know where to start figuring this thing out.
Avatar f tn As the above poster mentioned, Ibuprofen in any of its forms (Advil and Motrin along with some other pain meds--read the label--have ibuprofen) can help with period cramps. For me, acetaminophen (Tylenonl) has always been better. Heating pads can also be of use, but you can't sleep with one. You can make a rice sock (or get one of those pads that have them) to heat in the microwave before bed then utilize that to help as that won't keep heating up all night.
Avatar f tn Yes I read online that a small dose is okay. I mean I took 2 pills yesterday and 2 today and just realised it was advil. I've read online it causes birth defects and I don't know if I should call L & D or not. He's been moving all day. But I might just be over reacting because I'm a first time mom.
1674462 tn?1304114750 I am not sure that birth control will really help with endo pain. I know that it will slow down the growth of the endometriosis though. As far as pain relief, I have heard that ice or heat packs help along with anti-inflamitories. If those don't seem to help talk to your doctor again. They may be able to prescribe you something OR, I know where I am from they have physical therapy that can also help with Endo pain. Maybe you could look into something like that.
Avatar f tn ve seen a doctor and they suggested birth control but my family tries to stick to the catholic faith with that topic. My mom was put on birth control not long after that due to an extremely heavy flow. I want to be on birth control for the same reason she is (a better cycle) but she is convinced I will have sex. Any advice or ideas to help?
Avatar f tn It was only for maybe two minutes and he never came inside of me. I am also on birth control but left it in my car a couple of times so I don’t know how effective it still is. About two days ago I started having what looked like brown discharge (implantation bleeding maybe). I took a test on Sunday, two tests yesterday and one test this morning and they were all negative.
Avatar f tn I'm 20 and I've never had a schedule for my period. It comes about every 4 to 6 weeks. But the weeks before during and after I get intense cramps that range from the top of my vagina all the way up to my ribs and some times my chest. The cramps keep me from moving and doing just about anything. There like knifes stabbing all over.
17396631 tn?1456315815 My gynecologist put me on Ventura birth control pills (generic form of Yaz) with the intent to stop my periods because they caused me extremely painful cramps and depression. I've been taking them exactly as directed for the past three months. Every morning between 7am and 7:30am, never skipping a day, and starting a new pack instead of taking the placebo pills. For some reason I had two full-length, excruciatingly painful periods that were only two days apart.
Avatar f tn I would also maybe talk to my parents about possibly getting on birth control pills to help with the cramps -- that was suggested to me and just because you are on birth control doesn't mean that you are or have to be sexually active but it does help. Good luck hun!
Avatar n tn are you on birth control
Avatar n tn your not supposed to play with birth control. i did it once a few years ago so i wouldnt get my period, and instead i got my "period" for pretty much the whole two weeks i was down in florida. theres nothing wrong with having a period on vaction. use tampons and lots of midol. just because it worked for your mom doesnt mean it will work for you.
Avatar f tn During all of this i also stopped my progesterone only birth control after about a month and a half and have to take advil for bad menstrual cramps which just makes my stomach pain worse (i usually take 8-12 advil a day to control the pain, but even one advil will cause indigestion and stomach pain for me, but i have no help from doctors on this issue so i am stuck:() i was wondering if this could be hormone related? Just a bad IBS flare?
Avatar f tn I try to stay away from pills but if its bad ill take advil, pamprin, ibuprofens, whatever. Birth control can be an effect I know I stopped taking mine because it started making my body have weird changes and just messed up my hormones, and dizziness was daily. Ask your doctor also do reserach on the pill you are taking. There is teas made to calm like tea with cinnamon mint ect.
Avatar f tn If it is not against your beliefs, our OBGYN recommended the birth control pill.
514428 tn?1287598456 I was a long term birth control, but one I can could on!! There is so many things that can go wrong with this IUD that it really scares me. Does anyone else have the Mirena? I don't care about bleeding or anything (still haven't had a period since I breastfeed)...but I was wondering if the cramping is SO severe as woman say it is. I know woman who love it and others hated it... Why couldn't he just make my life simple and tie my tubes!! AHHHHH......
