it seems like advair is making my asthma worse. i started taking advair like 7 month ago and it seemed like for the first few months it was working but i had to become dependant on it everyday or else i would start weezing nonstop. after that my weezing was worst than ever and i started noticing that after i used advair my weezing was much worse. i saw this thread yesterday and now for a day and a half i havent used it and i feel alot better.

Forgot to mention that that Advair also gave a case of severe bronchitis (which I falsely assumed was a worsening of my condition) which kept me coughing all day and all night. On the FDA site they have a place where you can be notified of any recalls listed; "after the dog food recalls" I had put my email address in to be notified of any updated recalls and never got off the list. Its hard to believe all the things that get recalled and never brought to attention to the people. It's free for anyone to get on. Just thought I would pass it along.

t know if they still are but earlier the website was having technical issues and it was saying that ANY lot number you put in was not part of the recall. I followed the link on the main recall page that gives you a pdf of ALL lot numbers that are part of it just to be safe because we use Similac too. The can I've been using isn't listed but I'm still scared to use it.

Do you recall the ice skater Tanya Harding (the one who tried to have Nancy Kerrigan's knees broken during the Nationals many yrs ago). Well, she had exercise induced asthma as I recall and would take her inahler right before going on the ice, etc. My 16yr old maintains on Advair during Swim and Track season and it really lets her perform pretty much asthma free ... soccer in the cool AM's / PM's would trigger from the brisk night air .. rescue inhaler helped her a lot.

t improved at all in the 6 months he has been seeing me, HOWEVER I am able to control my diplopia about 95% of the time. Currently I will be seen every 3 months to determine if muscle surgery will be performed. In the meantime, I will live with the double vision. My question for you Dr. Hagan, is that if in the future, you do more research on cataract surgery anesthesia and diplopia if I could be involved in your study.
