1625877 tn?1299344991 Advair might have a patience assistance program. (I know they did a few years ago). Go to its official website and see if it is still available, if so see if you qualify.
201379 tn?1319991331 "xifanxan550.com" has patient drug assistance program, drug discount cards and copayment assistance. I always go to the drug website first. I have gotten huge drug discounts on brand name drugs not covered by my insurance. check it out.
Avatar f tn I also take Zyrtec (an over-the-counter antihistamine) or Benadryl. Advair has a good PR program, with side effects given short shrift.
Avatar f tn I started taking Advair about 5 months ago. About 2 months ago I started feeling terrible. My legs were aching so bad. It was hard to walk. My whole body was aching but not as bad as my legs. I would have awful muscles spasm in my legs. I was very very tired. Then later I started getting night sweat real bad. So I decided to stop taking this Advair a few days ago. But today I am in terrible sweat and having low blood pressure and 35.4 C temp. Do you think it has to do with withdrawl?
Avatar f tn DO I ALSO NEED TO BE TAKING SYMBICORT OR ADVAIR? WHAT CAN I DO TO TRY TO MANAGE MY COPD BESIDES QUIT SMOKING WHICH I HAVE CUT DOWN TO A HALF A PACK A DAY. WHICH IS ALL THAT I CAN ACCOMPLISH NOW. WHAT CAN I BE DOING TO BETTER CONTROL MY BREATHING WITH WHAT I HAVE ON HAND?
Avatar f tn I liked your quote without any exertion I can breathe normally...whatever the hell that is. What is normal when you have been short of breath so long. I totally agree. I myself I have COPD as well. My guess would be if it is day 5 without the inhalers, then they should be out of your system. I too had problems with Advair and Spiriva. I was diagnosed in Oct. 07 with moderate COPD. Was put on Advair, Spiriva and ProAir as my rescue inhaler.
746512 tn?1388807580 i also take advair but 500/50 the strongest one..there is a program from the manufactor it is called bridges to access. you need a patient advocate( someone from your drs. office) to apply for you but it covers all but i think 10.00 dollars. advair works very well. my mother who has emphysema took my suggestion and talked to her dr. and now has one and she also loves how it works.
Avatar f tn Ask them about baby clothing also.
1622229 tn?1299050798 http://www.bms.com/products/Pages/programs.aspx It took about a week and they have approved me to receive the medication and are shipping it to my home. If anyone is suffering financial hardship and needs medication, I encourage you to fill out the application and get it into them. Good luck and God bless.
764075 tn?1234495599 Yes, I agree with you on Roche. After begging/borrowing $$$ from family for the first 2 shipments of Pegasys from private pharm & insurance. I applied to Roche assistance program and in 2 weeks my first no cost shipment was on it's way. The only complaint that I have is I have to be home to sign for it.
Avatar f tn you have to be offered COBRA is you were covered while you were an employee. I would ask the HR department one last time and if the answer is still the same IMMEDIATELY contact your local MS chapter and ask for their assistance. They have specialists to help with these types of problems. There is a patient co-pay assistance program with Shared Solutions - be sure to talk to them about getting your drug covered.
Avatar n tn I use Duoneb (similar to combivent) in a nebulizer and find it very helpful. I discontinued the use of Advair (which is basically a combination of Serevent and Flovent) because it almost killed me (choking). It also caused adrenal fatigue, was harming my eyes, and was subverting my immune system. In place of Advair I use a variety of natural anti-inflammatories and mucolytics. My health is much improved and I found that the severe bronchitis I had was in fact CAUSED by the Advair.
Avatar f tn Because she has sleeping issue and is late alot, and because she has ibs and has had to be dosed in the car or go in after an accident, she is being kicked off the program. She is on 120mg and will be detoxed in 30 days. I am not saying that she was not in the wrong about things but this is very sudden. She has no income--I have been trying to pay her insurance and methadone fees myself as she cannot work and has exhausted short term disability benefits.
Avatar n tn However using a long-term control medicine, like Advair, Diskus (fluticasone/salmeterol), should help clear it away quicker. Sometimes this test is repeated after he has used a rescue inhaler like albuterol. When there is a 20% increase the test is positive for asthma. Advair Diskus (fluticasone/salmeterol) and albuterol as needed are recommended for the treatment for asthma.
333672 tn?1273792789 Apparently, Acorda has both a co-pay assistance program and a patient assistance program for the uninsured and underinsured. There are some details at http://brassandivory.blogspot.com/2010/02/annual-price-for-ampyra-set-at-12850.html with more info in the comments. And yes, the base price for a 30-day supply is $1,056. The way the co-pay program works is that if your co-pay is more than $40, Acorda will pay the difference so the patient's max out-of-pocket is $40.
Avatar f tn On another thread here, Mojogal has kindly posted the names of two resources that may be able to help financially with diagnosis/treatment of Lyme. Information is reposted below to highlight it. See the websites for full information. (Thanks, Mojo!
Avatar f tn I personally have no experience with suboxone, but drug manufacters all have some kind of assistance program. You have to meet certain income parameters and all that, but it IS available. Check online or ask your pharmacist if they have an 800 number for the manufacturer. It won't hurt to make a phone call and see if they have an assistance program. Good luck!
4461995 tn?1357955108 And they even have other referral programs to help with the cost if you are on government insurance that keeps you from using their regular assistance program. Make the call and keep asking to speak to someone who can help if you get negative responses from the intial calls.
