About 24 hours ago I decided to do something beyond idiotic, I took about 150MG each of ADHD medication called Adderall XR, I crushed up the little beads inside the powder. I'm 17 weighing 120. I took the pills in about a 12 hour time span. After I took the last one I began to faint, having dizzyness, hallucination.
Vyvanse should last close to 10+ hours. If it does not, its an underdose. Adderall IR lasts 4 to 6 hours and XR 8 to 10 hours.
The big question is when is the misbehaving happening? This would give you an idea of (if it is an overdose) when to adjust the medication.
Also keep in mind that lack of sleep can really effect a child. Also, just school pressure can do the same.
Hello. I'm Seventeen years old and have ADD. Last year I stopped taking my 30mg XR adderall because of weight-loss problems. Now i am a generally healthy boy and the only condition I have is asthma, which I out-grew years ago. Last night around eight o'clock I took one of my old 30mg XR capsules to see if it would help me with a big homework assignment.
m getting pretty concerned I may have suffered a TIA the other night after an unusually large amont of adderall I had taken that day. I had consumed a 20mg XR at approx 7am, another 20mg XR at approx 6pm and at around 2am, took another 20 intending to continue studying through the night.
Shortly after feeling the onset, my right hand and forearm began to tingle a bit, followed a couple hours later by my right foot.
I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these. The best working were the Daytrana, Adderall XR, and Vyvanse, and the Adderall you are taking may be different than what I take(XR) The other Adderall hurt my stomach and made me sick if I didn't eat, but I have no problem with the XR.
I recently had to switch my add meds from adderall xr to vyvanse and I am on day 2 and I feel like I havnt taken anything. I am extremely tired, have anxiety with everything going on around me at once, and I cant concentrate at all, I walked around my kitchen for 15 minutes not knowing why i wass but knew there was a reason then finally got my car keys that i was needing to get in the first place. Is this normal?
Well, see when I switched from Concerta to Adderall, I just stopped the Concerta and went to taking the Adderall XR. After a few months the XR did not seem to work very long or throughout the day. So, in 2007, I went on Adderall short acting pill form which generic form is amphetamine salts or amphetamine mix tabs. With this pill, first of all, it is extremely inexpensive. I pay $30 for 180 tabs 20 mg each. I cut each in half and take each half 4 times a day a total of 40mg.
I have these & I can't take it anymore...the rubbing of my tongue on the roof of my mouth & teeth due to the Adderall IR & XR...If I recall correctly, it all started when I switched from Adderall to the generic. Has anyone gotten any feedback to this problem?

No easy answer here. First I assume you mean Adderall XR? Let me know if you don't because the next sentence is about XR. Most Charts list 50mgs as the maximum dose. And weight really has less to do with the dosage then one would think.

I am currently on 4 months of Aderall Xr 20 mg in the morning and 15 in the afternoon. I think I might be taking too much, but that’s another question later. I also take testosterone for the last 3 years. Anyway the last few week my anxiety has got worse, and I felt like I did before I got on testosterone. My adderall has really helped me and I don’t want to give it up.

Hey, I was prescribed generic 10mg Adderall 1x per day by my psych, but when I tried it I felt slightly dizzy with ear stuffiness (the type when you fly on airplanes) accompanied by sharp, inner ear pain (in both ears). This lasted about 1.5 months.
Is there anyway to reduce this while taking adderall, and what could it be caused by?
I'm on Adderall 10 mg tab (not XR) 2x daily for my ADHD but it seems really weak, especially in the morning. I'm also taking generic Zoloft at 75 mg a day in the morning with breakfast simultaneously with the Adderall. Also, I've been on Adderall before without Zoloft and it seemed to be more effective, though I was on a 15mg morning regimen.When I take the Adderall in the morning with I barely feel a difference, except a very minor dry mouth.
I've been taking Adderall XR 20mg for nearly 2 year and have noticed that if I haven't masturbated in 2-3 days, ejaculate will appear either prior to, or after I urinate. I have checked side effects of Adderall XR on the manufacturer's website and have not found any information to this.

Thank you all for sharing your opinions. I don't get offended easily so no worries. I've been off Adderall XR 30 for a little over two weeks. I still have sleep problems. The other night I fell asleep at 5am and woke up at 7. I wasn't even tired, I felt as if I took an Adderall and am wide awake. Don't know if I was having a flashback and felt as if I was on the meds or if I'm going through withdrawals since I stopped cold turkey.
Adderall XR helped my Cerbral Palsy. I took about 40 mg and my spastiicity feels cured. I think of what may of actually helped too is I took my pain medicine oxycodone too. I am so happy right now I could cry. I don't want to wake up and beb back to normal lol. I am going to call my doc.If you want more info from me my email is ***@****.
