I've been taking Adderall XR 20mg for nearly 2 year and have noticed that if I haven't masturbated in 2-3 days, ejaculate will appear either prior to, or after I urinate. I have checked side effects of Adderall XR on the manufacturer's website and have not found any information to this.
t have any side effects except if I get less than 7 hrs of sleep then I do get tired even on the adderall xr. The side effects went away about a month after I started on the 25mg. I'm going to see a psychiatrist soon and have been trying to decide which one to go with now that I can afford it. I'm probably going to stay on the adderall xr and maybe see if I can get 1 or 2 adderall ir to add to my day. It says they last 4-6 hrs.
Well 3 failed college attempts and 5 car accidents later, I decided to see a pshycologist for a few appointments and tests and he diagnosed me with ADHD and wanted to prescribe me a stimulant and chose adderall. I tried 10mg IR and 20mg IR, with great success and only mild side effects but they did not last very long maybe 5 hours max, and I have 13-16 hour work days.
I took a break for about 6 months, and now, going back to school I have started back up on Adderall 20 mg XR capsule. I see more side effects with this med than I ever did with the IR- Headaches, "lump in throat" 5 hrs in, severe appitite suppresion, and nausea to the point that I have to lay down for up to 2 hours.
very motivated at times but moody , not sleeping , and so many mood swings and side effects. It makes him very tired at times and lay in bed all day. Could some of what he is dealing with be a side effects from coming off the prozac? How do you know what is what? Since back on adderall he's a rollercoaster of side effects.
OK..what is my point.....I would like him to go off all the meds for a while to see....(mothers intuition).he can always go back on or try something else....
My daughter has been on Adderall imediate release twice a day for a year now for ADHD and has no side effects. She actually is a better eater and sleeps better with it. I am not sure why you take it but i do know that the XR did give her bad side effects. She was more hyper and was losing weight. Maybe you could try the 20 milligrams of the immediate release instead of the XR twice a day or even a lower dose. You maybe sensitive to the high of a dose.
I currently take Levothyroxine 88mcg(μg) in the morning and 2 doses of Adderall (instant release, not XR) 20mg - one in the morning before classes and the second one whenever I need it depending on my classes that day or things I need to work on. I also later added Celexa 20mg which helped a lot with the anxiety and mood swings - especially from the "crash" of the Adderall.
But with ADD meds, no one can tell you what will work best for you, or what dosage, before you try it.
I was then switched to 18mg Concerta ER and I still get the same side-effects but they are about 85% less severe and last alot shorter 1-2 days max, but doesnt even work for me. Maybe amphetamines are too "strong" for me?
I diagnosed with ADD and was prescribed Adderall 20mg XR when I was about 22 years old, and I didn't have a problem at all except slightly dry mouth. I'm 32 and decided to try ADD meds again bc I cant concentrate. I'm stumped by these symptoms.

My son who is 8 was taking concerta 36 mg but was having side effects such as sleep and eating problems, now we have him on Addreall xr and he is doing fantastic in school sleeping no problem but will not eat all day he dosen't even want breakfast in the morning, as a parent I know he needs the med for school but I am afraid of what no eating will do to his little body, is there any other drugs out there that has little or no symptoms, I feel at my witts end!
But also note when it is happening. Are you on an extended release Adderall or the IR? Because an XR will release an amount several times during the day which you might be responding to. But, I would look at other factors first. How long does the dizzy effect last? What are you doing just before it happens?
I am a 48 yr old female diagnosed with recurring severe depression. When I am not taking my meds, I am tired, can sleep all day, am completely unmotivated to do anything and do not want to socialize with anyone. I have tried several different meds and am currently taking Celexa and Adderall XR. My psy says that adding the Adderall will "kick in the Celexa" and make it work better. I have a love/hate realationship with the Adderall.
My doc gave me Ritalin for ADD and Effexor for depression but this last one gave me too many side effects and I stopped taking it. Now he switched me to Wellbutrin (150 mg once a day) and 30 mg Ritalin. I have felt sick but am not sure if it is the withdrawal effects from stopping Effexor or the mixture of Wellbutrin and Ritalin. I feel brain spasms, especially in the back of my head. Today I did not take the Ritalin and felt no spasms.

t be taken something that can cause you to have even more of it along with other side effects that have cause sudden death and heart problems and even stroke and seizures. and seizures can be brough on by stress and anxiety.
the doctors should try you on things like ,zoloft or celexa and there are many other drug you can try.
I have know idea why he has you on something for adhd or add.those drugs are not good for you.
