Avatar n tn and a short acting adderall at noon also 30mg. Since back on adderall ...very motivated at times but moody , not sleeping , and so many mood swings and side effects. It makes him very tired at times and lay in bed all day. Could some of what he is dealing with be a side effects from coming off the prozac? How do you know what is what? Since back on adderall he's a rollercoaster of side effects. OK..what is my point.....I would like him to go off all the meds for a while to see....
Avatar m tn not personal experience with adderall....but it is normal to feel fatigue with adderall wd...it is not life threatening and for the most part it is a mental wd vs narcotics being both/mental and physical...the fatigue is common among narc wds as both drugs supply extra endorphins to the brain//many feel fatigue after narcotic cessation to be a physical symptom like the runs...but it is a result of taking endorphins away and waiting on the brain to "catch up" on endorphin production....

1768088 tn?1409087815 m wondering if all that is going on is A)side effects from adderall B)possible withdrawal symptoms or detoxing from concerta since she's Moody and head & stomach hurt and is pale and clammy and just doesn't feel good (in the past I was dependant on opioids so I know all to well how withdrawal can feel) or C)emotional and mood issues worsening from ADHD not being under proper control. I know to expect some side effects with medication changes. We've been there. Done that.
Avatar n tn If you take Adderall 10mg six times a day and stop it abruptly, how long will the withdrawal symptoms last and what can you do to help them?
Avatar f tn Although I don't take it (I take Adderall ) I have heard from an acquaintance there is strong possibility of withdrawal. "Concerta Crash" is the phrase. Ideally if you want to stop taking it, you should taper.
Avatar m tn I stopped taking my perscription to adderall xr 30mg two weeks ago since my semester at college was over. I was taking this dosage for almost three months. Since I have stopped, I have noticed fatigue in the morning along with a foggy thought process through out the day. Is this normal? And how long does this withdrawl last for?
Avatar m tn Do you think that I just lost all my progress by taking 1 Adderall yesterday? I mean is it gonna completely restart my opiate withdrawal? I already flushed the Adderall down the toilet because it didn't help, it didn't even take me out of withdrawal. I'm afraid that I just prolonged my brain from healing and getting back it's natural endorphins. Adderall couldn't have restarted the process could it?
Avatar m tn My son has been on Adderall for about 1 year. 20 mg am and 10mg after noon. He just started getting headaches and an upset stomach. Could this be from the Adderall?
Avatar n tn I have been on stimulant medications since I was in the 2nd grade for my diagnosis of ADD. I am now a college freshman. A good 5 years ago, I began taking adderall, deciding it would be most effective in treating my tendency towards distraction (According to the doctor, there is no hyperactivity). My dosage is currently 90 mg, and has been such for approximately 1 1/2 years. I am instructed to take 60 mg in the morning, and another 30 in the evening.
Avatar f tn Adderall is a cakewalk compared to opiates. You will be just fine. Kids stay on adderall and still get into Harvard--in fact, kids are purposefully getting on adderall to improve their grades. Coming off something like adderall is in no way, shape or form as hard as painkillers so I know you can do it. Just drink lots of juice, have some tylenol just in case. You'll be fine, honey.
1325193 tn?1450127436 i have a bad history of abusing drugs, and made a mistake of taking adderall. i have had physcs tell me i was adhd. instead of getting tested i went to a friend who gave me 10 15mg ir adderall. i personally dont think i am adhd. But from the first pill, i fell in love. it made me feel incredible. i abused 45 mg a day. Four days ago was my last dose and ever since then i have felt depressed very anxious, and have had crazy dreams.
Avatar f tn The two I am into are Adderall and Loricet which are two totally different meds but I feel I need the Adderall for energy and the pain pills also give me energy but they are good for feeling good all over too and still being able to sleep really well... I just wonder If this is withdrawal symptoms because I went from about 8 to 10 loricets a day to nothing this last week and a half and have taken half of what I would take in Adderall recently.
Avatar m tn It's basically the same as a Red Bull and all energy drinks. NOT a relevant solution or replacement for Adderall. Generic IR Adderall isn't expensive at all and is called mixed amphetamine salts or amphetamine, dextroamphetamine mixed salts. Something like less than a dollar per pill.
Avatar f tn I've been off of adderall for about 6 days now. I've been very depressed (literally lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling) and somewhat nauseated that entire time. However, I am also 6 weeks pregnant, and I have chronic mild depression anyway. I was using 10-20 mg per day (more than it sounds like, for someone my size) , for about a year. So, how long can I expect the withdrawal symptoms to last, and how much of what I'm experiencing do you think is from withdrawal?
Avatar f tn For the past 50 days I have been experimenting with adderall I saw the side effects of withdrawal and noticed that it made me lose an unattractive amount of weight as well as me not feeling like me anymore since I’m not a drug user.
880242 tn?1241283005 I am 28 years old but have been on the medication Adderall for over 15 years now. Of course on/off. My dosage for a few years have been 30 mill. tablets 3x's daily. I personally began to take more than prescribed about a year and a half ago when I was working at a serious job and felt pressure from my boss to understand and progress faster than I was. I would look at the clock and think well I am close to the next dose's time I could go ahead and take it.

Avatar f tn so u think i dont have the sydrome i have no fever but i get hot and coldoff and on....
Avatar n tn Ok here goes. I have been abusing adderall xr with high doses for a while and need to quit cold turkey. I can't go to anyone for help in fear of losing my great job and family. I take seizure medication and want to know if withdrawal will cause a seizure? HELP ME PLEASE!
Avatar f tn I've been taking adderall (at reasonable doses, but it's not my prescription), for a couple months now, and on and off for most of a year. My dose and dependency level are both higher than they have been in the past, and I'm planning to start a family, so I need to quit, and I've scheduled winter vacation to do that.
Avatar n tn It probably depends entirely on why you are getting it. Some things, like withdrawal of hormones during menopause, can be treated, others might not be so treatable. You should check with the appropriate doctor based on why you're getting the problem. Here is from Wikipedia: Causes of formication include normal states such as onset of menopause (i.e. hormone withdrawal). Other causes are medical conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, skin cancer, syphilis, Lyme disease or herpes zoster.
