adderall

Avatar f tn There is a generic brand of adderall which is what i take and i am on medical assistence which pays for it.
Avatar n tn A friend of mine is prescribed to Adderall 20mg XR, as am I. After a few weeks she felt as if the drug was not working. She opened one of her capsules and found that it looked as if it was sugar inside, as well as tasted like sugar. She did so for 5 capsules and they all contained the same sugar-like substance. It looked completely different from the medicine which a few of her other adderall 20 mg XR capsules in her prescription consisted of.
Avatar m tn It's basically the same as a Red Bull and all energy drinks. NOT a relevant solution or replacement for Adderall. Generic IR Adderall isn't expensive at all and is called mixed amphetamine salts or amphetamine, dextroamphetamine mixed salts. Something like less than a dollar per pill.
1367899 tn?1278121440 My sister and I started a blog on Adderall to learn more about the medication along with alternative and complementary ADHD treatment options. Any feedback from users of Adderall or Adderall XR would be greatly appreciated. Topics to be added this week on http://Adderall.org How is Adderall XR different from Adderall? [Adderall vs. Adderall XR] What is Adderall? How to Make Adderall: [Adderall Background Information] What are the best Adderall and ADHD books?
Business woman2 At Walgreens, we currently carry the Barr manufacturer brand of generic Adderall. All the forms of generic Adderall and all strengths from Barr manufacturer do not contain neither Gluten nor Lactose. Wishing you the best! Be well.
Avatar m tn Agreed, that is a good question and really can't talk to that point. But adderall does clear the system fairly quickly - which is why you have to retake it daily. That kind of makes me doubt the synergistic effect, but really don't know. This site lists 485 drugs and 3569 generic meds that have interactions with Adderall. I didn't see finasteride listed, but I didn't check out the generic versions. The site is - http://www.drugs.

Avatar f tn Does anyone know a pharmacy around Cincinnati that has 20mg generic adderall from the pharmaceutical teva or Barr..(I know teva owns Barr) orange or peach. I live in Batavia and have only been able to find generic adderall from corepharma pink ones and I have a bad reaction to them. I've read on the teva website if the pharmacy doesn't carry the generic you like you can have them order it for you at no price.
Avatar f tn They are allowed to have different fillers etc. Up to 20 % diierence from main ingredients. I take generic adderall IR. My pharmacy usually gives me generic by corepharma. Just once had (or gave it to me cause of my complaints) generic by another manufacturer where I didnt have all the side affects and worked much better. I found out its more exspensive so pharmacy doesnt have it often. Anybody can help with what are my rights to get the generic that works?
Avatar f tn When I read you were adding adderall I felt compelled to relay my experience. Adderall is basically legalized speed. Do yourself a favor and try all other options before turning to adderall. I was addicted to adderall. I just finished physical withdrawals and now I'm dealing with phychatric withdrawals. This drug is sold on the streets and you might find yourself needing more and more in order for it to work. Just be careful!
Avatar m tn I have been taking 20 mg amphetamine, generic adderall, periodically for the last few months. When I take it, I get very noticeable shrinkage. I am a 30 year old man, but only saw add adhd under the childhood categories. Is this a permanent/long term side effect, or does it change once the medicine is out of your system, my mind might be playing tricks on me at this point, and it's difficult for me to tell.
990354 tn?1307132886 I started out on Vyvanse, then due to insurance went to generic Adderall. I found Vyvanse to work much better, so I think I solved the insurance problem and I'm going to go back on Vyvance soon after I finish my Adderall generic. I found no transition problem between the two medicines. All these meds are really the same sort of thing. But it isn't wise to mix medicines. I know doctors would not like this.
Avatar f tn Hello, I have been taking the generic adderal for almost a yr.I started out taking 40mg. then i guess built up a tolerance to it and started 60mg and i again built up a tolerance to it, my doc says 60 mg is the maximum, so my question is is there another one that is effective that doesn't start out so low i guess or stronger. i hope that makes since to anyone.

Avatar n tn Now my question is how does a 16 year old (or others of any age) abuse adderall? How exactly do they abuse adderall? How is it done? Im asking because I have high position that my daighter is not only "trying" to abuse her vyvanse but I think she also doing adderall and getting it off the streets (from friends she may know or known drug dealers). I can just see a big difference in her behavior.
Avatar n tn i started taking the generic for adderall 3 d/ ago and i have a sore throat and my tongue is a bit swollen and i developed these lesions.. one on each side of my tongue and its very irritating and a little painful. at the dentist yesterday they told me its wasn't an infection but they thought it was a side effect from unknowingly clenching my teeth, and rubbing against my tongue due to the adderall.
Avatar m tn Hey, I was prescribed generic 10mg Adderall 1x per day by my psych, but when I tried it I felt slightly dizzy with ear stuffiness (the type when you fly on airplanes) accompanied by sharp, inner ear pain (in both ears). This lasted about 1.5 months. Is there anyway to reduce this while taking adderall, and what could it be caused by?
Avatar f tn Vyvanse is metabolized differently, so could last longer in your system. It was done so you could not snort it like you can with Adderall. Adderall gives a stronger first "hit". V is smoother and takes longer to take effect so may not be as noticeable. Also the Dose of V should be 30mg compared to 10mgs of adderall XR to be somewhat equal.
1929058 tn?1323110747 Hey all -- I live near Cincinnati, OH and Adderall IR (generic) has been scarce at best. Back in Sept 2011 I had to call about 10 pharmacies before I found one that had 20mg IR Qty 60. Since then my doc switched me over to Adderall (ER) b/c it is easier to find. I'm not a big fan of how to Adderall (ER) made me feel (little anxious, restless, and oddly enough I had a lot of disorganized thinking -- very strange). Doc put me on Vyvanse this month and not tolerating it well.
Avatar m tn I have a question regarding a recent drug test and the possibility of coming up positive. For about the past month, I was taking one, (on the rare occasion, two) 15 mg form of generic adderall in order to lose weight and stay awake during early morning hours, as I am in the process of joining the military. I am not prescribed adderall. The last one I took was last Saturday morning at roughly 7am, today is Friday, so roughly 6 days have passed since last taking any.
1100837 tn?1267668675 My doctor just prescribed Adderall 10 mg - 2x/day to address fatigue, brain fog and what he calls "pronounced ADD" symptoms. (Today he told me to take 10mg in the am and 5 mg (cut pill in half) at noon. Is anyone else out there currently using this medication? Are you taking the sustained relaease or the regular dose? Are you taking the brand name or the generic? What are your experiences? I'd like to compare. Thanks.
Avatar n tn The only thing I know about Adderall is that it is no longer available as a generic. The company that held the original patent bought the company that made the generic...thus no more generic. So right now, that is my big beef. If I have to bring my son in every month, well yes that will be a big pain in the you know what. I hope it is not true. I guess I will find out soon enough.
Avatar f tn I have recently been diagnosed with ADD and I'm currently taking Adderall (generic) 20mg twice a day. I've been taking this for about a month now with no unusual side effects except for one which has just recently developed... This is somewhat weird to describe but I keep getting a serious burning sensation on my skin around my inner thigh on my right leg.
Avatar m tn * Stimulant medications, such as dextroamphetamine-based drugs (Adderall, Vyvanese) and methylphenidate-based drugs (Concerta, Daytrana, Ritalin). They are also available as generics. * Nonstimulant medication, such as the antidepressant bupropion (Wellbutrin and generic) or atomoxetine (Strattera), which is not available as a generic.
Avatar f tn I've been on brand name Adderall XR 15mg pills for a few months now, and I've never had any problems with side effects other than suppressed appetite. Thanks to our new insurance only covering the generic, I had to switch to a drug "identical" to the brand. When I initially told my mom I was worried about the switch, she told me they're the exact same thing. She's a pharmacist, so I took her word for it. Fast forward to today, when I started the generic.
