Hello, I have a 12 year old son that has been on 10mg Adderall lx for @ 8 weeks now. for the first six weeks or so his teachers we amazed at the difference it has made however, I just talked with his teacher and she said that the week before Thanksgiving and this last week that Logan has been blurting out more and not as focused. The thought of increasing his dosage scares me but at the same time I want him to have the success. I made a call into his doctor but would appreciate your input.
Taken several SSRIs in the past for anxiety. Adderall XR for ADD, Wellbutrin too. I have been seeing a therapist for about 4 months and he had me go for a psychiatry evaluation a few days ago. The two concrred that I am "complex" and could be a combination of BiPolar 2, Adult ADD and even...Borderline Personality Disorder (god I hate that name). Anyhow, one of the main symptoms we all agreed upon was the mood swings.
actually all of this has lead to the decline of these new generations of children. children do not have respect for anyone, can not control their own impulses and have nothing but selfish attitudes-and it is not the children's fault. it is our fault for letting society tell us how we should parent and that children are just small adults. they are not small adults...they do not know what is best for them...parents do (well, most parents do). that being said...
My son tried adderall among other meds and it didn't work what works for some don't work for others again meds are a trial and error
No help with the sex drive, no help with art or writing or music, and I stopped taking it after a year. for two more years, the problems persisted. I dropped out of school, and ran away to a city where I didn't know anyone. --- 2. 21 years old. I came back to school, and was ready to start doing something with my life, feeling that I once again was not living up to my potential. I returned to school, hoping that maybe I had just needed some time off to mature or something.

Welcome. Yes. SVR stands for sustained viral response, aka "The Cure". We're all working towards that end. RVR means Rapid Viral Response, which we all hope to achieve by week 4 on tox. EVR = Early Viral Response. PCR test determines your viral load (VL). Geno 2 is easiest to clear, so you got that going for you. What is your VL? Did you get a biopsy? Do you know Grade/Stage of liver damage?
Her dr had to put her on adderall just so she could stay awake in the mornings for school. She gets terrible mood swings with lyme, and at times, lyme can make you feel like you are going insane (I had it, but the dr's never tested me for it; they kept saying it was depression and menopause!). I am desperate to find a cure for this scalp pain. No one should have to have these kind of symptoms for so long.

I eat about 500g of yogourt per day and drink 2-3 glasses of milk per day. Topamax alone won't make you lose the weight, it will just make it easier for you to do it on your own. I hope this helps you!! Have a great week!!

ALso experiencing gassiness and bloated feelings. Please, has anyone had this? Do you think its going off the pill, and if so how long til I am back to normal again? Or does it sound more like cysts?
Can anyone give me an idea of how long it usually takes for your metabolism to recalibrate after stopping Effexor and/or Lexapro? I've gained significant weight while on these drugs (despite an intense exercise program and careful diet). My nutritionist and MD told me that the drugs likely altered my metabolism, but no one can tell me how long it will take to correct that. Most frustrating, I've noticed that since I stopped taking both, my weight gain has accelerated.

Just wondering if anyone has a 'miracle cure'!! for a few years now, I've been getting a red blotchy chest/neck rash in circumstances where I - am drinking alcohol, anxious, nervous, excited, upset - really feeling just about any emotion. It's gotten to the point where I do not expose my chest/neck ever - and cover up whenever I can. I had read once that taking Niacinimide could help - and I've been taking about 1000mg of it for a few months, but am not seeing much improvement.
Does anyone have experience with this medication for children who are not diabetic and have been given Metformin for weight loss? I found a person on the MSN body odor support forum who had a bad odor for a long time and then the odor went away after being treated for H. Pylori, but then the coughing and sneezing started after that. Interesting. Another person on the MSN board said he was also treated for H. Pylori and then the coughing/sneezing started! Question: Do any of you burp a lot? Here is a thread that should be read: Read the replies to that link also.
for around three or four years now, I have been suffering from headaches some two hours or more after the consumption of any amount of alcohol - although typically as few as two drinks upwards of any kind of alcohol. The headaches come on slowly but persistently and follow a line from the left side of my neck across the top of my head to just above the left eyebrow. They are not sharp pains but more of a constant 'throb' and can go on for hours.
