You can wait until the need arises and then mention it. They do not need warning to make accomodations. I would not mention it in the workplace unless you have to. I did and got ousted. All of a sudden the writing I had been doing for months was no longer any good, and that is the 'reason' they gave for ousting me. My co-workers were great, it was just the bosses.

Let's put it this way, Everything is related. If you have a bulging disc, then you have a pinched nerve. If the nerve is pinched it sends a message to the muscle to tighten up. Therefore you end up with a tension headache. If you are uptight, your muscles tighten and cause it. If you have a pinched nerve, same thing. It is a shame you have had to suffer so much. Work place injuries are the worst. They can victimize you over and over.

The reason i think i have addisons is because i had a problem with my acth and my symptoms. super dark brown hyper pigmentation, Chronic fatigue syndrome, weakness, anxiety, i feel better at night, personality change, losing weight... i weigh 95lbs now, but the lowest was 79lbs and im 22 years old....and many more symptoms. The tanning part is why i think its addisons. i've never tanned in my life and im extremely dark and i haven't seen the sun in like two years.

I was recently diagnosed with adult add. My doctoe prescribed adderall 20mg a day. It helps a lot with focus & motivation. But when I am at work or in social settings I feel paranoid & xtreme anxiety. My doc said he is upping my prozac that would help with social anxiety. But it will take a month to feel a benefit from that & the adderall will probably just override it. I did not take the adderall todday b4 work. I don't know what to do. Just take adderall on my days off?

After reading many stories on-line of pregnant women taking adderall, I decided to start taking it again after the 3rd month at 1/2 the dose, which is 10mg a day. Does anyone believe that after the crucial period of development, lets say in your 6th month, would it be okay to do things you wouldn't do in the beginning? I also work in retail & the standard is killer in the back. Stocking anything heavy may make it worse. If the merchandise is light & ca fit on a cart that is higher so you dont have to bend, then the moving around may actually help your back. But if not, I would ask your DR for a note & give it to the manager above yours. Explain that you have already spoke with him about it.

You also do not want to lose your job and you must worry about your flat and your child. So whenevr you see this allow yourself to let go of the times you hesitated in doing anything. You were smart in asking for help. I also want you then to let go of the times you almost gave in or entertaoned doing it and had to tell convince yourself that you may not be an unreliable provider for your child. Hello, As a parent of a child that was on Adderall, as well as myself, I would never recommend Adderall, Ritalin, or any ADHD med that are in the controlled substance catagory. I had the same syptoms as your daughter, along with rapid heart rate, weight loss, and loss of interest in things that I enjoyed prior to starting Adderall. It made my son a zombie, his personality was different, he didn't laugh anymore.

I just found out that at a birthday party last night someone slipped 50 mg of Adderall in my drink. I have been awake for over 36 hrs now and my heart rate is faster than normal. I am getting worried. Is there anything I can do to counter the effects of this?

They not only break through the taste, but also help in saliva production that helps in washing away the metallic taste. Every time you brush your teeth, make sure to brush your tongue also. It will help in lessening the metallic taste. You can use some oral mouthwashes and take some vit C tablets also. This should help. I agree that, at least in pediatric patients, the reactions to it and adderall are vastly different. I know that adderall is a stimulant drug and Intuniv, while used to treat attention disorder in pediatric patients, was originaly designed as a high blood pressure med for adults. I hope this helps. So last Thursday 2/11/10 was the very first pill I took.And gah did I feel great, I was focused in on my classes etc. My point I'm getting at is that after taking 3 pills I have had excessive sweating from my hands and armpits. It is REAL easy in the beginning to use xanax to help you thorugh withdrawal or adderall and then boom - before you know it you have added to your nightmare and I know you don't want that. @ROSY, how long did it take for you to regain your energy and motivation? There has been times where I have run short from taking too many and I literally crash for days, and when I do wake up I don't feel like doing anything but sitting on my couch. I know the effects of subs and the withdrawal symptoms since I've come off of it two different times, but adding adderall into the mix sorta changes things.

It made me fell terrible. Also Ithink the plain adderall works better than Adderall XR. I have better control over the regular Adderall than theXR. If I don't feel like I need my afternoon dose, I dpon't take it. I was on 30mg XRs and they kept me up all night and ther is nothing you can do about it unless you have a sedative of some sort like Xanax or Ambien. Dexidrene works ok ,but it has a sharp crash to it and the Adderall just kind of wears off.
