Adderall heart rate

Common Questions and Answers about Adderall heart rate

adderall

Avatar n tn My best recommendation is that (if at all possible) exercise in the morning prior to taking adderall. You must watch your heart rate and stop if you feel your heart beating abnormally fast or beating anything that deviates from the normal. If at all possible, see your medical professional and ask him or her about this condition and how you should go about your daily routine.
Avatar m tn , but when I do take them everything is good to go. While im on Adderall my heart rate is normal but the next day my heart rate is up some. Which makes me nervous so I dont take my Adderall that day so badically I cant get on the routine. So in short I take my Adderall one day, and heart rate stays normal, the next day my heart rate is up a little so it makes me too nervous to take it for a 2nd day in a row causing me to not be able to stay on a routine. So any thoughts on why this is?
Avatar f tn Are you taking Adderall XR or Adderall? Is it a capsule or a tablet?
Avatar n tn I would be very careful, and work more closely with your doctor about what heart rate is the safe heart rate for you...I would also have you think re taking a lower dose if your heart rate at rest is already that high.
452191 tn?1208754863 my heart rate was also very low about a year ago due to my anorexia and i had to go to the hospital, my resting heart rate went down to 31.When should I worry about my heart rate/go to the emergency room or call a doctor?
Avatar m tn Adderall or no Adderall is having a heart-rate of 95-98bpm dangerous...cause problems down the road? I'm still under 100 so I can't imagine it should be of too much concern but I did want to get some opinions. If I was over 100 I'd worry and possibly stop the medication. I've heard from a lot of people that their HR initially increased when first started Adderall but reverted back to normal after a few months (once their body got used to the medication).
Avatar n tn I really wonder why you need the Ephedrine. The Adderall will raise your heart rate. The Ephedrine will raise it higher. You would have to be in fantastic shape to withstand not doing damage maybe even unrepairable damage to yourself. Please be careful. More is not better.
Avatar m tn Hi everyone, I'm 19 years old and currently in college, and 4 weeks ago I found out that I have a high heart rate and blood pressure. I am 5'9, 130 lbs, work out occasionally, although I have asthma and during my first year in college I indulged pretty excessively in marijuana/drinking. I also used adderall illicitly to cram, staying up three nights in a row at times, and that is when my problems started.
Avatar f tn amphetamines can cause a high heart rate..they speed u up//specially if the dose is too high...i would doubt that 1/4 of a hydro pill would contribuute too much to what u described...a panic attack is also a possibility but panic attacks can be induced by the nervousness and fast heart rate amphetamines cause//and vice versa as paince attacks cause fast heart rates as well...in any case i would get checked out by a dr....cocaine, crystal meth..all amphetamine like drugs can cause heart attacks..
Avatar f tn Since Adderall is a stimulant medication, it can cause an increase in blood pressure and heart rate. For most people, this increase is usually small and will not cause an issue. Patients who already have an elevated blood pressure and heart rate are at a higher risk of raising their blood pressure. However, the Diovan will work to decrease your blood pressure. It is best to minimize, or even eliminate any intake of caffeine and decongestants since both will raise your blood pressure.
Avatar f tn However ,over the last three years I have only taken the recommended dosage of 60mg. My question/concern is that last week my doctor mentioned that my heart rate was in the 90's. I honestly thought it was high because I was nervous or because I had taken the stairs up to her office, but I checked it later that day & it was still in the 90's . Last night before going to bed it was 99 . My blood pressure is normal and my lipid panel was normal .
Avatar n tn So is there a recommended amount of time to let the adderall wear off so I can exercise and feel normal heart rate and breathing wise?
Avatar n tn I just found out that at a birthday party last night someone slipped 50 mg of Adderall in my drink. I have been awake for over 36 hrs now and my heart rate is faster than normal. I am getting worried. Is there anything I can do to counter the effects of this?
Avatar n tn I am healthy, 37 years old, and have always been an athlete (competitive swimmer growing up, have run several marathons, etc.). I was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder 3+ years ago and in the last 6 months, I notice a huge fluctuation in my heart rate when running. It seems to "get stuck" at about 84 beats per minute and then "stuck" over 190. For each, if I stop running, it jolts my heart back to normal pretty quickly.
Avatar f tn I didn’t feel differently, didn’t have jitters, no increased heart rate and no sweating. But what I did have was improved eyesight, which is weird. I do wear glasses that I wear for a stigmatism but I do not wear them all the time. When I don’t wear them mailboxes and road signs are blurred. But after I Took the Adderall I could see and read the signs from farther away with out my glasses. I have been trying to make sense of this. Do any of y’all have any insight?
Avatar f tn My heart rate has dropped too and i feel more depressed this morning i dont know whats up no motivation at all
Avatar n tn Then I was put on Adderall and from the start my heart went insane. Heart rate in the 160s for a two or three days just from one small dose and would have chest pain and shortness of breath. Everything I read online about my reaction was discussing people who were Adderall addicts and were taking massive amounts...
Avatar m tn Unless there is physical evidence that you are not tolerating these two meds together at their current doses, like elevated heart rate or blood pressure or heart disease, there is no justification for a temp stopping them when they are working so well for symptom control. The temp may be inexperienced. You should ask to speak to your "temps" supervisor. Perhaps there is someone who will maintain your meds until the permanent replacement arrives on the scene.

Avatar f tn when I took a sip I got an feeling of incredible pressure over my heart, shooting pain in my left arm, I could not take in air, my heart rate increased, and then it stopped but my arm is still a little tingly and it felt cold for a while. not on the outside but cold on the inside. If you could please respond asap that would be very helpful. I have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, at risk to kidney failure because of sever sugar intake, and weakend muscles around the heart.
Avatar f tn i was put on adderall which is a stimulant on april 7th and of course it raises your heart rate...well my dr listened to my heart and he feels its still ok even thought i have been having this pain...so he thinks its muslesskeltal pain and put me on 800 mg ibprohun..sorry for the spellling...My heart rate had dropped down but i upped the adderall a bit and its back like in the low 100s..dr says he is sure im ok....
4265322 tn?1352168945 i took my blood pressure the other day, and the heart rate showed 102; which i recall seeing this rate for me in the past (around 100) so thought nothing of it. my friend got me concerned because he remarked that 102 was high, and that the norm was around 70...? not sure if that's correct, but anyway whatever the "norm" is- mine was above it. his blood pressure was sky-high, while mine was 110/80- but his heart rate was around 80, which he said was high for him.
Avatar f tn I have never had bp higher than 120/70 or pulse above 80bmp on adderall. When I am not taking it I am usually around 110/60 and heart rate is always less than 70. I do have anxiety issues, but it hasn't bothered me since I was a teenager. I believe in holistic alternatives to deal with stress and anxiety, and practice them to deal with overall stress for years. I was a massage therapist for 5 years! Today, however, scared the hell out of me! I am healthy for the most part...
Avatar n tn I drove myself to the ER, where I was admitted upon holding a heart rate between 125bpm and 150bpm and BP of 137/74. An ECG was administered and a CBC was done. Ultimately the doctor saw fit to simply give me a dose of Ativan intraveneously to calm my heart and I was released several hours later. About 48 hours later the tingling in my foot returned, as did a small measure of light headedness.
Avatar n tn t know is that withdrawal symptoms from Ativan (and other benzodiazepines) can include arrhythmia, irregular heart beat, fast or slow heart rate, visual disturbances (things too bright, double and blurry vision) unstable blood pressure, feeling spacy or "out of it", and a HUGE list of other strange and disturbing symptoms you might not expect. Google benzodiazepine withdrawal symptoms and take a look.
Avatar f tn I am constantly taking my blood pressure and checking my heart rate. Normally my bp is 112/73 but it fluctuates, and when I get anxious it can get up to 143/95 ish. My heart rate on my medication is usually consistently 75 to 85 and when I am not on my medication my blood pressure drops down to 102/68 and my hr drops to 60-70.
