Adderall for hangover

Common Questions and Answers about Adderall for hangover

adderall

Four months ago at the age of 23 I started taking 20mg of Adderall and went from failing all the same classes for the third time in a row to straight A's (I just got my grades back). Problem is I really really like how Adderall makes me feel and I went up to 60mg in three hours a couple times after the first month. I can't study at all without it but I'm worried about addiction.
I very rarely drink alcohol as well, because whenever I do, if I have more than 2 drinks, I have a hangover for at least a day, with body aches, migraines, and hardcore anxiety. I also do not use any other prescriptions drugs, such as Vicodin, etc. The only medicine I take on a daily basis are: Camilla, a mini-pill for birth control, a multi-vitamin, and a B12 supplement, as my levels are low. We're still looking into this.
The only time I had ever had a panic/anxiety attack before was when I was young and tried to smoke marijauna (safe to say because of that experience, I havent smoked it since). Once I had overdosed on adderall, and didnt sleep for three days and started to hallucinate, but I am not sure if that would have caused brain problems now. But after this anxiety attack that night, I figured I might be fine. But sure enough I was having severe panic attacks and anxiety ever since.
Would appreciate any personal comments you have about your use of Adderall. Is the Adderall prescribed for pain? And how have you been feeling Anjel? I do think about you alot, dealing with all the discomfort that you suffer from. I sincerely hope that you can find a way to get your pain under control. Living in chronic pain, is the pits, isn't it?

I have been suffering from severe daytime sleepiness and fogginess for about five years now. I also had a variety of other symptoms that were first diagnosed as fibromyalgia and then chronic lyme disease. The other symptoms have gotten better but the fatigue and focus problems persist.

I tried 60 mg of Ritalin for 8 months and am now on Adderall, 20 mgs. twice a day. I think the Adderall will need to be upped when I see my doctor again. I recently got off Effexor, which was the worst withdrawal I've ever experienced. I had no problem switching from Ritalin to Adderall. Does anyone have any Adderall withdrawal knowledge?
my dear young man and i will call u young for at 23 u r.......when i was your age i was doing the very same thing...i thought blackouts were a very normal part of drinking... partying so to speak......i could've owned stock in Bacardi, Gilbey's etc....i was a fan of many liquors and slivovica....104 proof slovenian plum brandy! My blackouts kept increasing as did my pingponging back'n'forth tween a smorgasboard of drugs and alcohol.....
The combination of this study and my first MSLT nap study produced a perfect pattern for diagnosis of Narcolepsy. Has there ever been a study to look at the coorelation between the 2 diseases. Would many CFS sufferers be classified narcoleptic if they took the appropriate test? Narcolepsy leads back to hippothalmus and lack of production of hypocretin/orexin(?). Seems like all things lead to hippothalmus. Thank you!
It think your experience of being on 3 different pills is a plus,in fact there was just someone on here the other day who is hooked on opiates, benzo and adderall. I had no idea how to help with that .
I really want to try L-Tyrosine but it makes me nervous since I don't know much about it. I take Adderall for ADD and Effexor for anxiety...but Effexor is considered an Anti-Depressant. I'm on the lowest dose, though so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. And as far as Adderall goes, I'm only supposed to take it for work and school, as needed. So I can stop taking that if I try the supplement. I just think feel like the lack of energy is making everything feel worse than it has to.
I sure hope you are all having a nice Holiday. Welcome to the room those who are new. Thank you so much for finding us. I know you can do this!
If you want to sleep better, there are proven non-drug methods for improving sleep. The following is a list of the 10 most important behavioral (non-drug) techniques for improving your sleep: 1.The belief that everyone must get eight hours of sleep is a myth. People who live the longest sleep 7 hours per night, not eight, so don’t worry about getting 8 hours of sleep. Most people need between 6 and 8 hours of sleep to function effectively during the day. 2.

I will hold on to the tranquilizer I was prescribed and keep it for whenever I completely stop the medication. Because I'm also on adderall right now for ADHD! SO many addictive meds! I've been on Effexor for two years now, mabe a little longer but now sure. I only got up to taking 75 mg but when I went on vacation a year and a half ago, I stopped taking it for four days. I was in Vegas and since I was drinking alcohol I didn't want to mix my medications with it.
At first it was curiosity and pleasure then it took over my live for over 20 years. For some people it's a phase then they stop but for others it becomes an obsession and you loose control. You don't know which will happen to you so wise up fast.

I NEVER said I take Xanax or Adderall - I've never even tried Adderall cause I know it's speed and I HATE speed. As for Xanax I said I've taken it before but HATE the hangover so I do not like it either. Don't go misunderstanding my posts - just the facts. The fact is that Tramadol is ALL I take. All I'm saying is that other drugs will become attractive going thru WD's from this ONE drug. The BP med is Propanalol and my mom has taken it for years.
While what RCA says may be true, my med is working for me. RCA -- When I go to the pharmacist for a refill can I ask for "TEVA"? Is there any way to tell who manufactured the pills I'm taking now?
A couple days later I still had a dizzy feeling so I had my ladyfriend drive me to the ER for fear of having post-concussion syndrome or something. They gave me something for my nerves (Loreazapam maybe?) and did a catscan and everything was A-OK. I had no idea why I was feeling like this, but I finally told my mom about it and she googled it and thought maybe I was having some panic attacks.
If you could take the time to read this and then give me your thoughts, hopefully some new theory could emerge: it all started abouth 2 years ago, when I was lying in bed in the morning and in that 'about to get up' and 'still drowsy, lying in' stage I would have an odd sensation in my head. Sort of like a head rush, but more overpowering. How I would imagine a seizure to feel like if it was only in the frontal lobe of the brain (and not in the rest of the body).
When I started eating properly, my blood sugar would stay within a healthy range. Anyway... that's my story. As for you, I would for sure talk to your doctor about an elimination diet if you think that your headaches are directly related to food. And, if you really think that this is could be a diabetes thing, then yeah, buy a blood glucose monitor (or try to get one for free by asking the pharmacy if the companies are giving them out for free at any point or have any coupons...
