Although I don't take it (I take Adderall ) I have heard from an acquaintance there is strong possibility of withdrawal. "Concerta Crash" is the phrase. Ideally if you want to stop taking it, you should taper.
I have had a problem for years now that causes me to have no energy, no motivation, loss of interest, no desire to do much of anything/never leave the house, cant focus, anxious, depressed, and my head just feels fogged and messed up. Anyway, I have taken adderall for 6 months which has helped a little with the energy and focus but not much with anything else. I have been to many doctors and now a psychiatrist and they keep prescribing antidepressants.
For the past month I have seen a change in both my behavior/attitude and mood...towards everything and anything. I'm more aggressive and easily irritated and annoyed. I lose my temper and am very impatient.. At the end of last year to the beginning of this year til like May I would say I was pretty positve and happy. But lately, I'm just depressed. I feel alone. and I'm not happy. Could the fact that I'm taking adderall be a reason to why I could be depressed?
Are there other people out there that are prescribed Adderall for depression? Also how many MG do you take? I am curious to see if I'm prescribed a "normal" amount. I currently take 2, 30mg Adderall XR daily (morning, afternoon) and 1, 10mg Instant Release Adderall around 7:00pm. 70mgs of Adderall total a day.
I have had no cravings at all whatsoever for opiates or anything to go back and be a user. I had my daughter during this process and was prescribed subutex, which I thought worked well too. Between the time that I had gotten pregnant and had my daughter I had feelings of no sex drive, no motivation, no ''gusto'', etc. I think with all this time under my belt and I take the suboxone correctly, I was just wondering what can I do to fix this. I'm diagnosed with ADHD and depression at 25mg amphetamine tab daily (15 morning, 10 lunch), and 15mg Sertraline every breakfast, respectively. Regarding the ADHD, my psychiatrist told me I should probably take a "pill holiday" with the Adderall every once in a while when I don't study or when I am not doing much work. I realize it’s most likely whatever symptoms depression and anxiety are described as. This depression/anxiety has been worsened due to choices INCLUDING and not limited to the described ADHD medications. I say it like that because I felt as ****** without the medications as I did with them. Also as described, without anything, I feel A DIFFERENT FEELING OF ******. mirtazapine and propanol. the adderral has helped me keep focus but it has also given me the side effects that i haven't felt since i was younger. I have been feeling increased anxiety, panic attacks that are unusual, nightmares and very pronounced depression. I also have been smoking maurijuanna but occasionally not too much. Theres so many variable that i don't know which is the main contributor to the increased depressive feelings.
t diagnose you here, if you are concerned I would get a second opionion. Did you press him/her for a stimulant? What type of depression and how long have you had depression for? These are just some of the factors. I have refractory depression and have tried 20+, I've finally found a good combination of meds that work fairly well, I still get periods of depression, but I'm far from getting thoughts of suicide now.
this dr wants me to go up 10 mg a week till i reach 60...i dont know about that..he switched my adderall to ritalin for my refractory depression and i toook 2nd pill thsi morning but im afraif im gonna be allegic to it,u all know my fears..i alos haved somazation syndrome and hyperchrodriac..which this dr told me are 2 differnet things..he said to still enjoy my 2 or 3 beers,,he has been a pshychtrist for over 50 years..i read some good reviews on people using ritalin for depression...
I am a hearing aid user for last 6 months, but I am using an old analog BTE hearing aid. Last week I went to an audiologist ( Hearing solution) and they asked me to change my hearing aid to digital. I found it is more expensive but great in performance. Can anyone help me to select a suitable and perfect hearing aid?
to be honest i dont know what i was thinking. the adderall spun me in such a deep depression i thiought id take 210mg with the others n hopes my heart would stop. even tho its 12 hrs later i still feel the same as i did when i took itbut my pulse is very faint. in every pressure spot. almosty like it dosent exsist. i just dont know if i overdosed or im just mentally unable to feel the reaction to such a large ammount when usually 30mgs is too much.
just talking to my dr he feels its my anxiety there is no chest pain just tightness,i dont have add or adha im being treated for anxiety and depression and im also on prozac and xanax....

I also take celexa and wellbutrin for depression and adderal was introduced because i was becoming depressed again feeling unmotivated and frankly lethargic....i worry i am doing a "bad" thing to my head....
