I am a college student studying pre med and have my fair share of adderall cramming for exams. After taking it for over two years and constantly being over caffinated my heart has become very sensitive to everything. Instead, he has now taken me off of my Adderall and put me on 1mg of Intuniv, which is for CHILDREN ages 6-17.. I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these. The best working were the Daytrana, Adderall XR, and Vyvanse, and the Adderall you are taking may be different than what I take(XR) The other Adderall hurt my stomach and made me sick if I didn't eat, but I have no problem with the XR.

It's ok for a school to set rules for behavior, and say that if children don't meet them they can't attend a school, but it's NOT OK for a school to require that children be medicated. 2. I have been taking Adderall XR 30mg for quite some time and have never had any problems on it. I was at a party recently and was moderately drinking (I only occasionally do so knowing possible interactions) when it is believed that I could have been unknowingly given an additional substance (marijuana was one theory, am planning on getting labs done to check everything). Adderall XR 25 milligrams , dextrostat 10 milligrams for afternoon, and effexor (75)for mild depression, mind you. ( I think the adderall was causing the havoc made him tired all the time and rollercoaster mood swings. ) So, got recruited to college for golf but couldn't function for 18 holes.

For anyone who is on of has a family taking adderall XR, or even knows about the drug----how much is too much, my son in 9 yrs old and the doctor wants to increase the medication to 60mg once a day in the am....this concerns me, its out of the FDA recommeded limits..

why im on adderall..im sure people with adhd have depression and anxiety....maybe we would know about others medications..

So I am thinking of giving him a 1/4 of a 20mg adderall to start off with and see how that works does anyone else take adderall for head trauma? Just wanting to know if it has helped them. just prior to having her testing in which she was diagnosed with these she was on adderall for suspected ADD and the adderall was very effective for her concentration and focus, making schoolwork and chores etc much less stressful and frustrating. after her testing i was told she definalty does not have ADD and the aspergers is making her loose focus and have trouble with concentration etc. she was taken off the adderall and has not been doing nearly as well.

After reading everything written on here I'd figure I'd share my two cents. I'm a 26 year old woman who has been on adderall for almost 6 years (given a month or so every year I wouldn't be on it just bc it was summer). I take 30mg of XR once a day. Of course it had nothing it's minor side affects, but nothing extreme.
