Also, yesterday I took a 10mg Adderall XR after not having any for 2 months, and there were NO euphoria, concentration benefits, or ANY mental benefits from it AT ALL. The Adderall did make me feel really stimulated physically like caffeine, but there were no anxious feelings at all. Either the Tramadol or Vicodin withdrawal is making my brain drained of endorphins or something like that. When do you guys think I will get my natural endorphins back? Also, do you think this is PAWS?

My main concern is that the luvox will counteract the adderall in some way. Does any one have any experince with this or can give me some info on how luvoz has worked for them?

I was taking 20mg of adderall xr and went to 60mg of vyvanse which i was told was like taking 25 to 30mg of adderall but i feel like im in some sort of withdrawal from adderall. am i the only one this has happened to?

I'm a 40 yo male and have been taking Adderall for three years now....same dosage (30mg twice daily), but take it 7 days a week for ADD. My doc suggested that once a year I take two weeks off to "reset" my system...but I've never wanted to go that long without taking it! You can try a different antidepressants like a SNRI (I would not use use on Adderall personally, other SSRIs or you can try tricyclic antidepressants, i recommend a second generation tricyclic like nortriptyline that is taken at night that haves sedative proprieties which could work well with Adderall in the day but your not getting full benefits of Adderall if you are using Xanax at the same time.

I wanted to wait until after Thanksgiving to start this med. I also take 30mg/day of Adderall (1/2 tablet twice daily) and 10mg of Valium twice daily. I've tried other anti-depressants but always stopped taking them because of the side effects. They just made me feel weird and anxious. I have been taking a number of medications since I turned 21 in 2008, the first being Prozac, Adderall, and Seroquel. I was only prescribed Seroquel for as long as my doctor wanted to "observe possible Bipolar symptoms".... after about 3 months he took me off Seroquel. Before finding out I was pregnant, I was prescribed adderall xr for my ADD to help me be motivated and focus at work. Once I found out I was pregnant, I stopped taking it. But, I did ask my doctor if it was okay or not okay to take it and he told me that he had other pregnant patients who were taking adderall on a daily basis, and have had patients in the past who took it their entire pregnancy and their baby was born fine with no mental or physical disabilities, etc, or anything bad.

I did have a friend who was on Adderall (same form of stimulant) for narcolepsy...it helped with that, but she lost massive weight and became paranoid. In low doses it may help with energy levels, but it is highly addictive. My son who is 9 years old was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 6, we have tried adderall, aderral xr, medate, medadate xr and now have gone throught all MG of daytrana patch. He is also taking .2 clonidine at night to help sleep. He also has ODD, my question is what medication can we try him on now that will MAYBE help with both? We have tried the Tenex smallest dose possiblr 1/4 pill in am. And he just could not function.

I suffer from major depression. I have been on Adderall for about 7 years. I’m on 80mg daily. I’m still exhausted. Adderall to me is such a double edged sword. Years ago when I first started it I felt alive. I could function like a normal person for awhile. The effects began to wear off and my dose slowly increased. My highest daily dose I have ever been on was 90mg. Right now I really don’t think I would be able to get out of bed without the Adderall.

im on xanax, adderall, & suboxone... My pharmacist said I should try to avoid taking xanax & suboxone at the same time but its fine if there a couple hrs apart, & not to take them together at night time. Its hard on your heart/body when you take uppers & downers together.

re talking about. For a long time my drugs of choice were adderall and oxycontin, then adderall and heroin. I liked that they balanced eachother out and got super addicted to the combo of them. But yes, when I came off of them, I had severe depression. However, each day i stayed off of it got better. The thing is, I had to go to rehab or 12 step meetings for the support and teh community and so I was around other addicts who understood and so i made myself accountable to them.

I want any advice or information from experienced members, who have succeeded in quitting w/long-term Adderall addiction. I'd been prescribed Adderall for the first time in 2000. My Doctor has steadily increased my dosages (up to 120mg daily) over the years. She has also experimented with various other alternatives (Ritalin, Dexedrine, Vyvance, etc) with mixed results. I don't feel that long term health effects; are justified by short term benefits (that I might not get).
