My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.

i am on adderall xr and zoloft 50mg and it is makin me very sick.i am starving every 2 hrs my moods have me very angry..i have diarea and nasea....i have just switched from celea and adderall to the zoloft...what can i take for depression with my adderall that wnt make me sick?

I eat very healthy, organic meals and focus alot on my nutrition because I am constantly trying to prevent cervical dysplasia, treating myself with many vitamins and supplements. I understand that since adderall is a stimulent, it will speed the process up, but does that mean that my body is not efficiantly absorbing the nutrients from my food and supplements?

as I read about the study reported in the British Journal of Dermatology about using oral zinc for recalcitrant warts. but my doctor told me no that hes never heard of that and too much zinc is dangerous..the clinical trial they used up to 600mg of zinc a day..but Fourteen of the 23 zinc-treated patients had complete remission of their warts after one month of treatment. Complete clearance of warts was noted in 20 patients after two months...NO ONE in the Placebo group showed ANY improvements..

ve been on since January and I stopped it 3-4weeks ago and there is still some tenderness. But in addition I was put on adderall about 1-1.5 months before that. Is it possible that the culprit is really the amphetamine and not the propecia ?? Thanks for your help.

Finally, other things can build up and not be harmful at all (ie zinc). I suspect that build up of Prozac and Adderall is not harmful to the liver, based on what my doctors have given me/ told me/ what I've learned from being active in other Medhelp communities. Note- Certain SSRI's are responsible for approximately 5% of liver damage cases.

She had been on Adderall for ADHD, went into a hypermanic event and was involuntarily committed for treatment. After her release she went back to her original Psychiatrist who again prescribed Adderall for her. Is Adderall ever used for bipoplar disorder. Everything I have read says no. How can I convince her Dr. to not prescribe it anymore? Please help us.

I've heard about the restless leg, cramps, and aches, but are body jerks part of the withdrawals? They will jerk my daughter's legs or arms like she is flinging them or similar to what you do with a cold shiver that goes up your spine. Have bought Calcium/Mag/Zinc tablets and Hyland's Restful Leg, and bananas. Any other suggestions?

I've been prescribed adderall for the past 4 years, I currently take 75mg per day. A couple months ago my Dr. started me on strattera in conjunction with my adderall. I have not noticed any improvement in my ability to concentrate or remain organized since starting the strattera, however my anxiety is gone and I am finally happy. A couple weeks ago my Dr. left and I was given a "temp" to take her place.

ve had weekly checkups to monitor my dosage and my doctor and I have slowly worked up to 30 mg of adderall a day (20mg XR AM and 10 IR PM). Since that first week I've been feeling TIRED when taking my adderall and don't think it's working very well anymore.

I currently take 60mg Adderall XR once a day and recently my Dr. added Celexa 20mg once a day..Anyone have any experience with that combination?I noticed yesterday for about five minutes my hearing wasnt as good..then that went back to normal..this is after adding the celexa..Adderall never did this..I also now have diarrhea where with only the Adderall I only went once a week...but Adderall makes me not hungry at all...not till after 6 pm..

anyways i then stop the medication, which i had no problem stopping at all since i slowly went from two 20 mg of adderall a day for each 8 hours class in the morning and night. To one pill and day, to one pill every other day, till nothing at all. SO don't think it's like taking (CRACK COCAINE) and almost impossible to stop.

I've been taking adderall for about 10 years now, and I've always had problems with my voice, specifically the volume of my voice. Especially when I take an extra tablet, the next day my voice is breathy and hoarse. Do you think this has to do with adrenal burnout? Or could it be LPR (silent reflux)? I worry the Adderall is altering stomach acid PH? which might be causing my lower esophageal sphincter to get stuck open, causing pepsin leakage into throat?

I was a healthy energetic 30yo before I started taking adderall. I discontinued taking it and I did start back on it and it didn't help with my pain, but actually gave me severe headaches and mild seizures. I'm glad it's helping you though. At least you're getting relief from your symptoms someway.

oh honey, get him off that stuff! my son has adhd and bipolar, and they tried to treat both, but adderall is a definite no-no. it increases aggressive behavior and raging. you will have to teach him to deal with paying attention, but you can't treat bipolar using any other technique than drugs and therapy. take him off soon, and let usknow how it goes. good luck to you!
