adderall and wellbutrin xl

I am wondering if anyone has had experience with Adderall XR or Wellbutrin XL and Reflux symptoms? I started Wellbutrin about 6 months ago, and Adderall XR about 3-4 months ago. I finally feel like I have the side effects under control for the most part.

I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these. The best working were the Daytrana, Adderall XR, and Vyvanse, and the Adderall you are taking may be different than what I take(XR) The other Adderall hurt my stomach and made me sick if I didn't eat, but I have no problem with the XR.

My dr, said she looked it up in her book, and Wellbutrin XL 150mg, is only prescribed for SAD and to quit smoking. She did not want to prescribe the XL at all no mater what I said. She prescribed me Regular Wellbutrin 100mg twice per day. I do not want the regular wellbutrin as it will make me shakey, and I will not follow through with taking 2 pills per day...

Hi! I was diagnosed with ADD recently and I'm waiting to get back in to see my psychiatrist. My last office visit we spoke about the possible medications I could choose from if I completed ADD testing with another Psych. He mentioned Strattera (but he said he didn't feel that it worked), Adderall, and Ritalin. I'm currently on abilify and wellbutrin for depression and these meds, along with adderall and ritalin lower the seizure threshold.

I was very recently prescribed Wellbutrin XL, after trying several medications that have not helped [including Wellbutrin SR]. When I saw my doctor, she simply said 'I'm putting you on Wellbutrin twice daily' and I assumed it would be the SR. But what I was given was XL, with the instructions to take it twice a day [morning and around noon]. My doctor's office is closed today, or I would have asked her. I did ask the pharmacist, and he said that yes, this is okay.

I take bupropion (Wellbutrin) but I take it for OCD/Anxiety. I believe I have undiagnosed ADD as well. For me it works well for my OCD/Anxiety. The ADD, well I have lived with that for so long that I think I have just found ways around the attention problems that I have so I can't really say that it helps or doesn't with that particular part of my life. If you have any specific questions about it, let me know and maybe I can give you a better answer.

I don't think XL and SR and really different. I'm not really sure why they have both. I take 150 of XL and it makes me feel more energetic. Maybe consider what time of day you take it, If you take it with food or not, etc. Let your doc know even if it goes away.

anywayas i have been tapering off the prozac 10 mg a week per dr...and still on the wellbutrin,im finding as i lower the prozac i feel more tired my adderall is 5 mg in am and 5 mg in pm i cant tell it helps me with energy,,,was hopeful for the patch but i put my last one on and it feel off i had 4 to last a month and i just got them the 23 and they r all gone..it may work fine for u i dont know why nothing gives me energy unless i have more add then dr thinks and it makes me tired..

So is there a recommended amount of time to let the adderall wear off so I can exercise and feel normal heart rate and breathing wise?

Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that there shouldn't be any contraindication to taking Ibuprofen, Acetominophen or Aleve with those two medications. Hope that helps!

I have now been taking 150mg of Wellbutrin XL for about three months, and have noticed no imprvement. If anything, my libido has diminished even more. Since most people report a boost in sex drive with the Wellbutrin, I was wondering if I am just an atypical case, or if perhaps my dosage is not high enough to experience the improvement. m on 225 reg. Wellbutrin. The XL, extended release tablets stayed in my system long into the evening strong and kept me from being able to sleep well. I take it first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up.

VE SUFFERED FROM PANIC DISORDERS FOR A LONG AS I REMEMBER. SO I WENT TO MY PHYCHITRIST AND SHE SUBSCRIBE WELLBUTRIN XL FOR A BOOSTER. PERHAPS TO HELP MY EMOTIONAL EATING AND DEPRESSION. I'VE BEEN ON IT FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW FIRST 150 MGS FOR 7 DAYS THEN 300MGS THAT I'M AT NOW.

why so i have moments of ups and downs on my wellbutrin. Should I increase my dosage?

Will I gain weight or loss weight by takeing 300mg of Wellbutrin XL a day? I started loseing weight on the wellbutrin SR but he switched me to the XL because he said the SR doesn't go any higher then 200mg... What should I do???

s on or has been on Wellbutrin XL or SR, did it work for severe depression and make you happy again and actually look forward to things.. I'm starting to give up hope.. Also, does anyone have any feedback on consuming alchohol while on Wellbutrin?

I am surprised that he gave you vyvanse. My dr. gave me Wellbutrin and it produced none of the side effects you mention except decreased cravings for caffeine and sweets. Our pharmacist said vyvanse is a lot like adderall; he said everyone seems to be using it who would have previously been on adderall. It is very trendy right now. But I do not think it would help with anxiety at all, and I would guess anxiety might be causing your heart rate to be rapid.

I have been on Xanax 2mg twice a day that controls panic attacks. Recently I was put on Wellbutrin XL discovered that Xanax and Wellbtrin both help with Dopamine. Does Xanax make me sleepy--I don't think so, Melatonin 1mg at night helps me sleep well. Melatonin seems to have hangover affect. I have to take Xanax around five in the afternoon to prevent major panic attacks. Do not get sleepy in the afternoon Xanax of 2mg in morning and 2 mg in the early evening.

I got my period for the normal 5 days and have been spotting for 5 MORE DAYS AND COUNTING! Is this one of the "start up" side effects or a permanent thing???

I took Wellbutrin for 20 years, and ended up with drug induced lupus, I know I am very very rare, but I don't know about cirhosis ? Do you have to take an antidepressant , maybe diet, exercise, and once you are cured with new oral treatments allot of the depression goes away, I promise you that I take nothing now and am doing very very good When do you start treatment ?
