It all started about Wed (02/08/17) morning when I woke up, as soon as I sat up I had a strong urge to gag and did but didn't vomit. It was an unpleasant feeling of course that lasted through the evening with me having no appetite. What I find odd is that it pretty much completely disappears by around 8PM every time! Now about a week later I'm still experiencing this which is why I came here seeking help.
I take Adderall and have daily for about five months and occasionally get an uncomfortable tingling/numbness on my arms and face but today it wasn't just uncomfortable, I thought I was going to die. While driving I began to feel a tingling sensation in my face, arms and legs. The sensation slowly intencified and soon my whole body was tingling unbelievably (worst in my chest and abbs). I steped out of my car and could barly walk and had little control over my muscles.
I went to the ER the next day as my thumbs were numb and tingly and I went online and read a bit about Adderall and that scared me pretty good. They did an EKG on me and the doctor assured me that all would be ok. With that I was stoked that everything would return to normal and I'd get a second lease on life...boy was I wrong. The next few weeks were pretty normal.
this was due to a cocaine overdose which in reality is the same as speed/adderall etc...races the heart and can do permanent damage...he has "locked in syndrome"...he is awake and alert but can not move a muscle in his body...the family is uneducated and will not make him a dnr(do not resusitate)...he has been coded over and over,,,poor thing...
The tingling is simply poor peripheral perfusion (poor circulation to hands and feet). Think of an adderall overdose like this, if you were about to enter a fight, how would your body react? Sweaty palms, elevated BP and pulse, diaphoretic, etc. When I encountered the adderall OD, I usually grab a beer, as it helps me calm down. An hour or two and you should be fine. Hope this helps.
m working full time, going school and being a single parent. Needing help to focus and with depression I went to see a pyschologist( I have medi-cal so theres only one available) He put me on 10mg Adderall three times a day ( he said 4 but I made the decision to only do three). Been doing ok on it despite constant dry mouth and some weight loss. Well I just talked to him again and told him I liked it but felt it hard to focus again. He then suggested starting 20 mg three times a day!
i started taking the generic for adderall 3 d/ ago and i have a sore throat and my tongue is a bit swollen and i developed these lesions.. one on each side of my tongue and its very irritating and a little painful. at the dentist yesterday they told me its wasn't an infection but they thought it was a side effect from unknowingly clenching my teeth, and rubbing against my tongue due to the adderall.
At night i needed a quick fix to go to bed and relax my nerves and body and thats what weed did, but when my adderall dose got higher so did my THC tolerence. i need to fix my body and head. I need advice on the most safe way to quit this drug without a form of rehab facility. That for of treatment is just not an option for me.

The use of your medications, as prescribed, has relatively predictable side effects, the use of more than directed is never to be done. I was just diagnosed with ADHD today and my doctor prescribed me Adderall. I took 20 mg about 5 hours ago and I feel absolutely NOTHING. Is it because I donated Red Blood Cells yesterday??? I am worried as to why I feel ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I feel disappointed in this medication and it has been only 1 day. I really need this medication to work for my ADHD. Thank you for your time!
Everything I have read says that you have it for life. However, as you get older you (hopefully) learn how to compensate. And the older you get, the more control you usually have. However, if you haven't learned how to compensate or deal with the ADHD, thats when depression, anxiety, or self medication can set in.
Having said that - the big IF is - was it an accurate diagnosis of ADHD. There are things that can make it seem like you have ADHD.
Well, see when I switched from Concerta to Adderall, I just stopped the Concerta and went to taking the Adderall XR. After a few months the XR did not seem to work very long or throughout the day. So, in 2007, I went on Adderall short acting pill form which generic form is amphetamine salts or amphetamine mix tabs. With this pill, first of all, it is extremely inexpensive. I pay $30 for 180 tabs 20 mg each. I cut each in half and take each half 4 times a day a total of 40mg.
There are things that can help far more with your depression than adderall and norco. That only makes depression worse. I bet you could look back and see that you are more depressed now than before you started self medicating?? It doesn't lead anywhere good. Keep talking to us, and don't use. That is a first step, and we can go from there! OK?
My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.
