adderall and mood swings

ve taken him off of it because of side effects; but we see mood swings, anger, depression, jealousy, angry words coming back once he was off of it, what would the next medication suggestion possibility be to replace it. He's on Adderall for ADHD but the above came back when he was on nothing, between Tenex and Adderall. He is five which complicates things.

Hey, I know what you mean, I starting taking adderall a lot a year ago and when I would come off it, I had the worst anxiety, depression, mood swings, heart pain/racing heart, etc. I'm sure you know about that. Like everyone else said, the best thing you could do is get active in something else. If you like the adrenaline rush and energy of adderall maybe you can find it in a healthy outlet, some sort of activity or sport.

I used to take adderall about 6 years ago ( not prescribed, solely for energy..) I took it for about a year and when I stopped I had 0 energy and mood swings from ****... I can't say how it really was because I started taking pain pills on top of/after quitting the adderall... I have no experience with subs..

very motivated at times but moody , not sleeping , and so many mood swings and side effects. It makes him very tired at times and lay in bed all day. Could some of what he is dealing with be a side effects from coming off the prozac? How do you know what is what? Since back on adderall he's a rollercoaster of side effects. OK..what is my point.....I would like him to go off all the meds for a while to see....(mothers intuition).he can always go back on or try something else....

My son is 6 and is also diagnosed with autism at first they said he was adhd and bipolar but just recently they changed that diagnoses to just autism they said there was no need for a adhd diagnoses because most autistic kids also have all the adhd symptoms as well.

I was diagnosed with both ADD and hypothyroidism about 8 month ago at the age of 20. I currently take Levothyroxine 88mcg(μg) in the morning and 2 doses of Adderall (instant release, not XR) 20mg - one in the morning before classes and the second one whenever I need it depending on my classes that day or things I need to work on. The dex has been great for Improving my focus, has stopped my excessive day dreaming ( I used to walk around with my head phones in and dance and day dream for hours and hours) has improved my work life and I am actually organised for the first time in my life.

Serequel really helped me. I have ADHD too so after 4 months on Serequel, they put me on Strattera first. I still seemed spaced out. Then I begged for Adderall after taking 3 30mg for 3 days my girlfriend got for me as a test. The Adderall has made me a different person. I use to be called ADD boy by my friends parents. LOL The only thing I have to watch is my blood pressure. I'm 42 and the adderall has the reverse affect as that of a normal person. It calms and focuses me.

She had been on Adderall for ADHD, went into a hypermanic event and was involuntarily committed for treatment. After her release she went back to her original Psychiatrist who again prescribed Adderall for her. Is Adderall ever used for bipoplar disorder. Everything I have read says no. How can I convince her Dr. to not prescribe it anymore? Please help us.

All my bf does is work and then come home and play video games all the time. I am working but got my hrs severely cut after the holidays so i am home alone a lot. It gives my mind way too much time to think! Im afraid to end up raising this baby alone. Just really need to talk to someone.

I have been extremely emotional lately. It *****. Every time someone says something or does something, it irritates the crap out of me. I'm taking it out on my friends, coworker, my coworkers and especially my boyfriend, the father of my child. It's getting old. It's not like me to be like this. Let me introduce my self. I am 43 yo, married for 6 years and I had my second ovary removed at age 37, after already having my uterus and 1st ovary removed in 1998 and 2000. About 5 years ago I found myself actually hysterical and didn't know what to do.

I just recently found out i was pregnant, and my boyfriend and i couldnt be happier. But I am always moody towards him, and i am never in the mood to be touched. I am scared if i keep this up, I will push him away.He is already keeping his distance. Does anyone have any good tips for me? I feel awful and I want to be able to control it. i try and tell my boyfriend that i am going through a lot of changes and i cannot control my emotions some times, he doesn't believe me and says that i need to just deal with it better, how do i cope with these wild emotions and how he treats it all like a joke no matter what I say?

Haha omg. We talk about everything from the beginning about being pregnant. And all week he just, drives me up the wall! And I'm really sarcastic and mean, it just flows out.. then two seconds later I'm like "oh my god baby I'm really sorry I didn't mean it I love you" hahaha! I am six weeks and i am crying and sad over small stuff. Been trying to potty train my two yr old with not much luck. I think that might be part of it. Is this normal to have so early and what can i do to help work through it?? Also will this mean that i will have postpartum after the baby comes? I was fine last time during and after.

Make him read a bout pregnancy mood swings. i'm almost 3 months pregnant and I'm having the worst mood swings ever. But he read a lot about pregnancy symptoms and he knows its not my fault....
