adderall and acne

I googled acne and adderall and saw several blogs about people experiencing the same thing after being on adderall. She stopped using it for several days and her face is clearing up substantially. Has anyone ever heard of this? When I called the dermatologist office they had no knowledge of this happening.

The acne and rash are not from an adderall allergy. Although, some peoples skin may get more oily when taking adderall (thus causing increased acne). She's obviously abusing adderall. People who abuse adderall make those of us who legitimately need it look bad. It also makes parents hesitant to put their kids on it (even though they could benefit greatly from it). I hate it when kids come on here and ask silly questions. It's disrespectful to the entire ADHD community.

I was diagnosed about a year ago with adult ADD after much talk and consideration I agreed to go on Adderall. I have been so pleased with the changes. It is so nice to be busy and actually accomplish something whereas before I was taking the medication, I was very busy but usually made a bigger mess and never accomplished anything. I am taking 15 mg twice daily. I am getting horrible acne on my face and kind of the same thing but on my scalp around the top of my head.

I have hard knots that I guess are acne under the skin on my face they're huge and embarrassing and I know adderall made it inflames what do I do to make it go away please help it looks so bad

Then, about 2 ½ years ago I had a near-psychotic meltdown, mostly about the devil and evil spirits, and was diagnosed with OCD and prescribed Anafranil and Zyprexa, which helped with the irrational thinking and obsessive thoughts a little. Between now and then, I have been diagnosed with OCD, Social anxiety disorder, GAD, major depressive disorder, ADHD, and most recently, aspergers/high functioning autism.

But this morning i have a mild headache and i feel an eye twitch coming on and my head just feels foggy. I do take adderall xr 20mg everyday and have been since i was 18. I have been slowly weening off it because i feel like the adderall is making me magnesium deficient. Anyways to add to all this my hormones are out of whack causing me to get mad easily or cry. Also Ive been struggling with acne, when I have never had acne problems in my life.

I recently began taking adderall for ADHD and extreme fatigue and exhaustion caused by Lyme. When i started taking it, the Morgellons skin symptoms became significantly worse. There are fibers and deeply embedded, thick filaments projecting from lesions on my face. (Quick Morgellons lesson: the fibers/filaments in the lesions are made of keratin and collagen produced by skin cells as a response to a complex bacterial infection. The keratin and collagen are produced in massive quantities.

My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.

i am on adderall xr and zoloft 50mg and it is makin me very sick.i am starving every 2 hrs my moods have me very angry..i have diarea and nasea....i have just switched from celea and adderall to the zoloft...what can i take for depression with my adderall that wnt make me sick?

ve been on since January and I stopped it 3-4weeks ago and there is still some tenderness. But in addition I was put on adderall about 1-1.5 months before that. Is it possible that the culprit is really the amphetamine and not the propecia ?? Thanks for your help.

I'm on 75 mg of synthroid currently I was on 120 armour I just had my blood drawn today and will have my results back next week. constipation ringing in the ears acne/rash - alot of the other symptoms are gone - cold feet - moody - tired - loss weight since change - I switched because the endo- said that the synthroid was better than the armour and didn't recommend me being on it. I actually feel so much better since the switch.

She has taken Doxycyl. - 1 capsule a day for about 3 years for acne. She took adderall xr 15 mg for approximately 1 1/2 years, but stopped about 8 months ago b/c she didn't like the side effects. (Obviously, the doctor missed something or something wasn't there b/c she shouldn't have ever been taking adderall if there was a possible problem).

She had been on Adderall for ADHD, went into a hypermanic event and was involuntarily committed for treatment. After her release she went back to her original Psychiatrist who again prescribed Adderall for her. Is Adderall ever used for bipoplar disorder. Everything I have read says no. How can I convince her Dr. to not prescribe it anymore? Please help us.

So is there a recommended amount of time to let the adderall wear off so I can exercise and feel normal heart rate and breathing wise?

I've been prescribed adderall for the past 4 years, I currently take 75mg per day. A couple months ago my Dr. started me on strattera in conjunction with my adderall. I have not noticed any improvement in my ability to concentrate or remain organized since starting the strattera, however my anxiety is gone and I am finally happy. A couple weeks ago my Dr. left and I was given a "temp" to take her place.

I've battled acne since 5th grade, and I'm just about to turn 21 now. Yesterday my dermatologist prescribed me 25mg Spironolactone 2xD and Tri-Sprintec BCP to help clear my skin up. I trust her judgement with placing me on both of those medications, but what worries me is that it may be too much of a hormone change for my body.

ve had weekly checkups to monitor my dosage and my doctor and I have slowly worked up to 30 mg of adderall a day (20mg XR AM and 10 IR PM). Since that first week I've been feeling TIRED when taking my adderall and don't think it's working very well anymore.

i have an upcoming test and was maybe going to take some adderall to help me study. i do not have ADD and am not prescribed adderall. i know it may be harmful but i have done it in the past and i seemed to be fine. i was wondering if maybe taking the adderall while on the antibiotic would be a problem? what health risks would this pose?

I currently take 60mg Adderall XR once a day and recently my Dr. added Celexa 20mg once a day..Anyone have any experience with that combination?I noticed yesterday for about five minutes my hearing wasnt as good..then that went back to normal..this is after adding the celexa..Adderall never did this..I also now have diarrhea where with only the Adderall I only went once a week...but Adderall makes me not hungry at all...not till after 6 pm..

My daughter is very competetive in track and just stared taking adderall for her ADD. Will the adderall slow her running down? She is very concerned.

anyways i then stop the medication, which i had no problem stopping at all since i slowly went from two 20 mg of adderall a day for each 8 hours class in the morning and night. To one pill and day, to one pill every other day, till nothing at all. SO don't think it's like taking (CRACK COCAINE) and almost impossible to stop.

He has since (at my prodding) switched her medication to 20MG of Adderall once a day. Since she has had horrible mood swings and is now picking her skin! My fiance says the trade off isn't enough for him to want to keep her on the medication. I would like to know what amount of this behavior is normal and what is excessive, just so we can maybe put it into perspective.

We are pleased with Adderall! Ashley took it for the first time yesterday and it was almost like it was a different person I was living with! She was focused, she was talkative after school(usually she'd been hardly speaking at all).Well if I was tired, had headaches, stomach aches I'd would n't be talking much either. I've been taking adderall for about 10 years now, and I've always had problems with my voice, specifically the volume of my voice. Especially when I take an extra tablet, the next day my voice is breathy and hoarse. Do you think this has to do with adrenal burnout? Or could it be LPR (silent reflux)? I worry the Adderall is altering stomach acid PH? which might be causing my lower esophageal sphincter to get stuck open, causing pepsin leakage into throat?
