I went up there and took her to the doctor and she was basically told is was a stomach virus (gastroenteritis) drink plenty of fluids and it should go away in a couple of days but when I look up Gastroenteritis it says that it's common in people with weaken immune system caused by HIV. It could also be food intolerance, both food allergy and food intolerance can cause symptoms of nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain. So on that basis, I doubt a new HIV infection is the cause of whatever symptoms you have. Now I have read the rest. Your own assessment about the sexual exposure is correct ("I feel that this was not a high risk encounter").
