Actonel eye problems

Common Questions and Answers about Actonel eye problems

actonel

Avatar n tn I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.

Avatar n tn Every doctor seems to think it is allergies. I have also recently been to an ear, nose, and throat specialist. Shows chronic sinus problems but no current infection and no need for surgery at the present time. I also do the sinus rinse and have veramyst spray. Ear, nose, and throat specialist said to keep doing what I am doing and contact him in 2 months. I also have GERD and am currently taking Nexium since last May 2007.

Avatar f tn t believe that at my age , this is a huge problem for me. I am taking Paxil and for the last 10 years I was taking Actonel, until my doctor suggested I stop because of medical reports showing after long use, it stops working. I know the 2 problems are not linked, but still remain a concern. Is there a medication to stop me from my late night binges. This is when I eat the most. It seems there would be an appetite supressant that would be helpful.

Avatar f tn I had to get an eye exam and she noticed I had abnormal blood vessels in my right eye and uneven eye pressure (not sure which was higher or lower). My right eye was a bit weaker than my left. Naturally it had always been stronger. My prescription going in was left -2.00 and right -1.75. She upped my right to match my left and I also switched brands from Cooper Vision to Acuvue 2 week lenses.
Avatar n tn You can google Tamoxifen for more info but it has been associated with eye problems in some women. I would definitely let your Dr. know.
Avatar m tn I used to have Eye problems not letting me look at anything bright or brightly coloured without getting intense pain. Is it anything serious?
Avatar f tn I try to keep going pushing myself to the limit which prob. makes it worse. I have had lesions all over my body b4 and have bad scars. I have had eye problems for years and am having blurry vision, sort of seeing shadows, which sounds crazy but its true. I had cytomegalo virus some years ago and wonder if this caused the mctd. I know I am rambling but there is so much wrong with me , I am not depressed just frustrated after all these years. This started in 1986.
Avatar n tn The simple thing sounds like BP and hormons as its that time of the month, surgest earthclinic under eye problems may help, could be just something so simple to put you right at that time of the month.
Avatar m tn When you go in take 5-6 good facial pictures of you talken over the last 15 years that show your lid position and eye appearance well. Do not let the ophthalmologist eye techs put any drops in your eyes till the Eye MD sees you. If you have a chance see a neuroophthalmologist. If you live in USA find one near you at www.geteyesmart.org Also see your family MD about the headaches. Tell him about the eye changes and see if you can get referred to a neurologist. Please act on this.
903476 tn?1242237037 s a diabetic on 12 units of insulin twice a day and she has some major eye problems. She was diagnosed with cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic nephropathy or whatever it's called(blind from the diabetes) and the retina has ruptured in one of her eyes. Avatar f tn He has been having a yellowish green eye bugers coming out of his left eye. It is also pretty red. The eye bugers are more often than a normal eye. I am wondering what I should do. We think he might have allergies and on occasion we give him a benadril. He is a hunting dog so he is in the water often and in brush. I am unsure if the eye could be scratched or somthing is just caught in there. But i can not see anything by looking.
Avatar f tn Saw my Opthomologist and she took different test and checked me over very thoroughly. She felt that my Thyroid could have a lot to do with my eye problems and also mentioned the possibility that it could be a neurological/optical problem. She's going to do a field of vision on my eyes to see if I still have the range of vision. Basically, she's saying it's either caused by an Endocrine problem or a Neurological problem.
