actonel and jaw disease

i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . ANY IDEAS WHAT CAN BE GOING ON WITH ME ?

I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.

I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.

can any medications cause a false positive and can liver disease,urine flow or my medications,prednisone 10mg.,azathioprine 100mg.,folic acid 2mg.,actonel 35mg.,anything cause a false positive?????? need help,hippo.

t let me take things like actonel or that class of drugs as my osteoporosis affected the bones in my jaw and they are afraid to take the chance as with those drugs there is a risk. I was disappointmented about the forteo. I think that drug is more dangerous than its worth personally. Are you still working as an RN? I am not able to work now and I miss it so much. Let me know you turn out regarding the forteo.

I have osteoporosis of the right hip and osteopenia of the left hip. I have peripheral neuropathy (familial), and two bad knees.

One may develop some kind of intestinal problems with Actonel and the alternative to that is to not to take drug empty stomach, that is to take it after a meal. Please let us know if you may have nay other queries and what your doctor says. Good luck.

I have saver headaches, jaw pain , and TMJ. I take Lyrica and it helps most times. I find that I need to increase the Lyrica medication very often. I take a large amount of Magnisium because my left part of my face is tight and hard to open. MY question is, I do not understand my pain, Do my pain originate in my jaw or my head? In the past I had symptoms of Try mingle Neuralgia. Could that contribute to my facial pain? Why does the Lyrica wont work all the time?

so went to a doctor,, he said i have to have all my teeth pulled out (25 of them),, i have a rare disease in my jaw bone,, but not t.m.j. my teeth went from being straight and white to crooked, sraced and ugly in 6 month;s.. could this be due to eagles? my neuro thinks i might have it.. any info would be most helpful,, how did she fix it.. surgery?

My brother was submitted and release from the hospital now I am here again chest pain and jaw is worst.

I had pains in my lower jaw a few years ago and the pains radiated down through my neck and shoulder. The hospital couldn't find anything. Weeks later, I went for a dental check up and an xray was taken of my molars to check the root canals. He found a huge pocket of infection in my sinus canal, which cleared using anti biotics. Wasn't that lucky.

For you who may wonder what this means, the lecturer is a medical doctor, a dentist and the MS is a masters in periodontology. The subject was periodontics and systemic disease. Fosomax is a biophosphonate drug. The biophosphonate drugs have been known to cause osteonecrosis (infection causing loss of bone) of the jaw. A disease you do not want to get. The lecturer said she would never recommend anyone taking them.

About a year ago I started getting chest, upper back, shoulder and jaw pain. I noticed that the jaw and arm pain in particular seemed to be more prominent about 10 minutes into exercising. I had a stress echo which was normal. Pain is on and off, both with and without exertion. Forward to Summer... the discomfort while exercising seems more prominent again. Went to a second cardiologist for a 2nd opinion and had another stress test. All results were normal.

I'm 35 years old, female, I brush my teeth every day yet I somehow got gum disease. I visited my dentist on Friday and has me on anitbiotics and an oral rinse. I have over 40 stents as well as 2 bypass surguries. I have since developed tremendous chest pain that radiates down my left arm and up to my jaw. It comes out of nowhere and is sometimes a 10 out of 10. Nitro does nothing when it is ramped up so high. I have been in the ER 12 of the last 30 days and it is not only embarrasing but it *****. I have been told each time the ECG is good and the traponin levels are good as well as chest x rays are all good. I am at my wits end of what to do.

The pain usually comes from the position of the jaw, and the muscles being in a tight position changing how the jaw and mouth anatomy sits, causing discomfort and occludes blood vessels. Like the song says, the ___ bone is connected to the ____ bone... we're all connected and when one thing is tight, usually the next thing down the line is tight. Go for a massage, it will do you good and take out any upper back/neck/shoulder tention you may have.

It is just achy, maybe slightly itchy, I feel the pain in and along my jaw and down my neck. It suddenly stopped for a day and then came back with a vengeance. It hurts to swallow, I get a sharp pain that shoots through my ear , especially with cold fluids.
