The dermatologist recommended a salicylic based acne medication. After a few days of not working, I am trying Clearasil with a 3% sulfur base. I don't even know if this is for sure safe for children. She has had whiteheads and some blackheads and also white little bumps under the skin which look like milia but which the dermatologist said are acne. She always had a little pubic hair but this has grown much more since her 6th birthday. She is normal height and 42 pounds.
I recently read about a genetic test called AcneDX that tests whether or not oral antibiotics will be an effective acne treatment. My teenaged daughter has moderate acne and tetracycline has been suggested. I'm concerned about giving her a medication that may have side effects and produce an antibiotic resistance later in her life, and it may not even work to clear her acne up. The test sounds like a great way to find out prior to treatment if the antibiotics will help.
Try using t gel by neutrogena, that does sound like psorosis. T gel is very helpful, and it's not expensive I use it because I get acne on my scalp from using hair spray And it works wonders even though it is made for psorosis. It's main ingredient is coal tar so it doesn't smell pleasant but it's worth a try. Also if you had lice you'd see it crawling.

05% a sodium, sulfacetamide 10%, sulfur 5% cleanser, solodyn 55mg pills to control my acne and sunscreen but yet again (surprise surprise) didn't help with the hyper pigmentation. I have fair skin and it makes the hyper pigmentation appear darker than it is because of the contrast. Right now I added kojic acid to my routine and been using it everyday for 3 days but haven't been noticing a big change and I'm not sure if it is working or not.

Maybe the picture isn't doing the spot justice, but this doesn't look as bad as you described. If you're bothered by the redness of the acne scar, look for spot treatments with sulfur, which lighten the skin after a few weeks of use. Also dermatological light treatments are available, but probably wouldn't be covered by insurance, since its considered cosmetic. Also use good sunscreen (looks like you do).
I had the same problem and I just made sure to take my prenatal vitamins and my face cleared up
as a hair dresser i know what they look like) and i had terrible acne... I have had acne for years that seemed to get worse...the painfull kind that makes you not want to leave the house... (I eat healthy, drink lots of water, take lots of vitamins, excercise, have good hygine, good housekeeping habits... and I am 27 years old... I don't smoke, I don't drink...and i am still affected...
My sulfur burps started when I was pregnant with my 4th child. After the burps, I vomit very fiercly and the runs are sure to follow. These symptoms are getting worse. I have an appt with my Dr. She thinks I may have a duodenal ulcer. For all of you who have this awful "sulfur Burping" Look this up. My heart goes out to you. Ive seen 100s of posts about this , the following sulfur burp symptoms along with the oily yellow frothy diarrhea , abdominal pain , pain in the pit of the stomach , foul breathe and belching , bloating , lots of gas and general discomfort , I was wondering if anyone has been tested for Giardiasis or chronic giardiasis , Ive been searching for months for answers and this one seems to have all the symptoms of this massive freight train .
It all happened along with other med problems around the time I was going thru my divorce. I was diagnosed with eczema, alopecia (I lost a spot about the size of a 50cent piece on top of my head), got acne on forehead, which would get really oily, and had to use pro active. I went to several different doctors and they all told me I have Peri oral Dermatitis. I was prescribed Metronidazole at first and with no luck. The dryness slowly got worse and the red spots were not going away. I used Phisioderm to wash my wash my face and the dryness disappeared in a few days but then came back just as quick.

t go away for several months. I thought it was a pimple at first but it would not go away with otc acne treatments. It itched and bothered me, and I admit, I did pick at it. I finally heard it might be an ingrown hair so I got ingrown hair cream. The bump went away but there is still a red mark and it's been about a month since the bump went away, and hair will STILL not grow back in that area.
