Avatar f tn d have it checked out by a dermatologist. As for the acne, I have PCOS and am constantly dealing with it. I recently started using neutregenia skin id and LOVE it. Consumer reviews show that 80% of women have had positive results from it. It isn't that expensive to try either.
Avatar n tn Hi Sir, I used to get pimples around my face, back and chest however I had undergone a treatment and the problem subsided eventually however the moment I left the treatment I again started getting pimples or some kind of infection. I am again undergoing a treatment and the doctor says that this is a normal concern....I got some reports done and everything is fine.. Please let me know how long will this continue? will I be ever able to get rid of this medication?

She gave us a layette list, and we bought a book from Consumer Reports about baby things, and the Girlfriend's Guide book about baby things. We then looked over the list from Babies R Us and check marked some things and crossed out others, and then went back to the store and developed our registry.

Only one blood-glucose meter scored excellent overall and also scored the highest for consistency- the Johnson & Johnson Lifescan OneTouch Ultra Mini. The Ultra Mini was followed by Ascensia Contour, ReliOn Ultima (WalMart), and Accu-check Compact Plus.
Avatar m tn I had been prescribed a supplement for the treatment of acne and the salts in that supplement contain myo -inositol, D-Chiron Inositol, Chromium and Vitamin D3 and I have been taking these for 3 months now. I haven't been diagnosed with any PCOS or hormonal imbalance in my reports. Is it safe to take these supplements without any side effects as i read on internet these supplements are used for PCOS treatment mainly.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know about the scarring after-effects of accutane? I've read several reports of scarring left after it's use. I'm sure that scars are to be expected, as with any open wound, but I don't know if these reports are by anyone with abnormalities with healing/scarring. Here is the situation... I have mild, maybe slightly moderate acne. I get keloids on other parts of my body, but thankfully not my face. I still get abnormal facial scarring though.

I'm not sure if posting it here would violate the T&C of MedHelp) states there is no reason this should work for any condition (and it makes claims about many unrelated conditions - a major red flag when determining potential efficacy) and states a strong concern that although the ingredients are listed, the amounts aren't. This is no small oversight.
Avatar n tn I use an OMRON BP 785 blood pressure monitoring unit. I got this one bec. it was recommended by Consumer Reports. I've now calibrated it against BP measuring devices in a few different MD offices, and it's always been very close to the reading in the doc's office.

Treatment options include topical and oral antibiotics, topical retinoids, hormonal therapy, dermabrasion , phototherapy and laser resurfacing. Normally a combination of treatments is followed and if nothing proves effective then dermabrasion and laser therapy are useful. You can discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.
Avatar f tn I am an avid "Consumer Reports" person who uses the "expert opinions" like they are the bible :) With that being said, the Bugaboo was rated extremely poor overall and was ranked incredibly low for safety. So, personally... I wouldn't purchase the Bugaboo, but that's just me. As for the Quinny... I have never heard of it and I don't know anything about it. You can check out Consumer Reports ratings for strollers for free for 1 month.
Avatar f tn I am now on acutaine. My acne situation seems to be getting much much better HOWEVER, before starting my treatment, I started also experiencing extreme muscle aches. At first it felt as if it was my joints but I've realized it's all mainly in my back and rib cage area and lots pf weight loss even though i eat all the time. it makes it extremely hard to move if I've been sitting or laying down but doesn't hurt as much if I keep moving.

In some states, you don't need to be a Costco member to buy their booze, either. (That stems from the repeal of Prohibition.) So while you are waiting to get your prescription filled, you can pick up some gin for your gin and tonics. :o) They've got great deals on wine, too.
