i have had acne since i was 12 I was put on this medication when i was 14 and am now 23 still with acne yes accutane will problably make your skin look the best it ever has, if you are lucky for a long time. i had servere acne and during the course it got worse basically imagine all the acne under the skin lying dormant waiting to come out all at once i would sleep with a t-shirt because the acne would pop during my sleep causing my sheets to be covered in blood yes disgusting!
After 2 week of exposure,,,while i was looking through mirror i had seen lot of black rashes on my back,its like back acne scars or something like that.i felt terrified on seeing that,i was sad to think think that i caught hiv,during the following days i noticed pimples coming on my hands and chest bt they disapper after a day or 2...i was full of fear and anxiety during that time...my back i full of scars now,i am using some antibiotics and vitamin tablets now..
At first, I believed this bumps were hypertrophic acne scars. I thought this because the bumps appear exactly on the same location where I had pimples. The biggest bump I thought was related to a really big pimple I had on my nose 5 years ago. Now, I don't know if the bump was very big at first. I would think if it was big at first I would have noticed it and been conscious of it.

Hi, about 15 months ago i had a yeast infection on my penis. It left a couple scars so about 3 months ago i started putting mederma on them. I applied the mederma for about 5 weeks before i found out that your not supposed to do that which is when i stopped. The skin began splitting around the area where the mederma was applied (the tip of the penis and the skin directly below it).
I have been getting large pimples over the last year or so. I will have one pop up every 6-8 weeks. Some of them turned into boils, maybe because of me picking at them, I'm not sure.

For the past several years it seems that the razor bumps on the back of my head are getting worst. I get me hait cut with a very close fade or what we call a taper, this is done with an electric clipper. This actuall inflames the area and causes the bumps to will with puss of just clear fluid and become very ichey. they never go away completely and now have caused scars.

Does anyone know about the scarring after-effects of accutane? I've read several reports of scarring left after it's use. I'm sure that scars are to be expected, as with any open wound, but I don't know if these reports are by anyone with abnormalities with healing/scarring. Here is the situation...
I have mild, maybe slightly moderate acne. I get keloids on other parts of my body, but thankfully not my face. I still get abnormal facial scarring though.
Hi, I know that skin resurfacing is good and also dermabrasion. They like help with smoothing out your skin. But there isn't really any over the counter products for deep scars. If you are talking about just like dark spots from post acne those can take up to a year to go away, they just fade away. But the deep ones are permanent unless you see a dermatologist and ask what they recommend by lookijng at them. I know I would like to get it done myself but it can be sooo expensive!
I also suffer from keloid scars on my chest and back because of severe acne in my junior high days. I am wondering if this is just acne acting up again or something more severe. The use of google suggested eczema or scabies.
Anyone have an idea of what this could be?

i was given this monocyline Hcl 100mg with cream which has this oleanolic acid formula.is this cream for acne scars or acne?or for both?i have been using both tablet and cream for 20 days.i didn't see much of the change in fadeness of scars or maybe it takes time.please let me know what is this cream exactly for.
