Yeah, try Conchar Nacar. It's a latin mask made from oyter shell. Great stuff. Use it like 2x a week. It will also help impurities on your skin. Make sure that you mix it before applying. It's a weird texture and looks like oatmeal when you put it on. But I have always used for a mask.

My acne is clearing and I have no new breakouts, however I have lots of red marks where the acne was (post inflamatory hyperpigmentation possibly?)? Anyway, I was just curious if blue light or red light treatment would help, and can I use the light treatment while on Accutane? If not, what else could I do to reduce the appearance of the red marks? The acne is on my chest and is very hard to look at. I live in Florida and it is very hot and I cannot take off my shirt with this look.

acne keeps getting brought up. I know it's hell, I have the scars. I've been using coconut oil on my skin for a month now. My face is clear, a few of the scars have faded, and my stretch marks from my first two kids are no longer angry red. Benzoyl peroxide is effective for active acne lesions.Since now you are left only with scars which are a result of scratching, so they are post inflammatory hyperpigmentation scars.The treatment is the same as advised.

I've been having acne scars or marks for quite some time now. It has gotten bad over the past few years. It's mainly on both sides of my cheeks. It's red and indented I'm my skin well some, and some are raised above but not that much. It doesn't hurt at all but looks horrible. How can I go about clearing this help? Please help, I don't know what to do anymore.
I have had acne red marks, not scars, that just won't go away. I've had them for about 2 years now and have tried products such as Differin & Atralin with no avail.

i have acne and i managed to clear my face last week and there are just postinflammatory hyperpigmentation marks left where the acne was (reddish brown scars). i also have mild ice pick scarring and enlarged pores. i use acnecide 5% benzoyl peroxide gel every night for acne and yesterday night, i put on acnecide all over my fave and then put ambi fade cream with 2% hydroquione on top of it on my spots. i then put on aloe vera gel from holland and barretts as moisturiser.
I do scar easily from acne, thats hereditary. I do have acne scars on my chest area, but below by breasts and down my stomach and sides, these random marks appeared on day. They are light brown-redish, dont hurt or itch or bother me physically except the skin is a little dry and coarse. But they wont go away and look terrible, It makes me very self conscious around my boyfriend and myself. Should I go to a dermatologist or will certain lotion/cream make them disappear?
I have many very noticeable acne scars on my face that have been there for years now. Many times we worry about marks on our skin and think everyone notices them or looks at them, when it is only us who pay attention to these "imperfections" we have.
