Firsty I am very grateful for your reply as it certainly has given me hope. After reading your reply I have started experimenting different techniques of hair removal which didn't change a lot of things. However looking closer into the situation I have noticed that not all areas on my legs have this problem as there are various patches which have virtually no hair after removal. The problem areas are the top of thighs and all of the lower leg from knee below (not feet).

I was in my bathroom when i noticed a bump on my face, kind of like a pimple on the inside of your skin, so i used my acne products and then i noticed a white spot sticking out from it. i kept rubbing it with an acne removal pad, and the white spot got bigger. now there is a white spot in the same place of the bump. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?!
ve always had bad acne, some weight issues, depression and excessive hair growth, but I never knew what it was until now. I'm fair skinned, and my hair is thick and black and there is so much of it! I'm so embarrassed by it. I could shave in the morning and come back home after school and shave again. I started shaving my arms, legs and bikini line around 12 and now it's exhausting and unbearable to keep up with.
I have severe cysitc acne that covers my upper back. I went to a dermatologist for this condition beginning at age 12.
During the course of treatment I was perscribed Minocycline, Doxycycline, tetracycline, and sulfa based medications, all resulting in allergic reactions. I was finally placed on Accutane with positive results while taking the drug, however six months after completing treatment, the acne returned again.
Has anyone had their mirena out due to acne and weight gain? Did the side effects clear up after removal and if so how long did it take? I've had mine for 3 1/2 years and considering having it removed.
I have an acne cyst on my cheek that has been there for about 2 weeks and its driving me insane...its impossible to cover up with makeup, it hurts, it won't come to a head, and its disfiguring my face! I've had a couple cysts in the past but they've all eventually came to a head. I just want this to go away. Does anyone know any techniques about how to get a cyst to go away or come to a head?
I don't have any advice I could give you on the removal of your esophagus but was wandering how you found out you had cancer cells and what problems you were having for them to test you for that?

Thank you so much, you're very kind. Yes, I do have extremely oily skin as well as acne, although my acne has improved over the years. I'm currently undergoing laser hair removal on my face and have been told to avoid chemical peels, etc. until that procedure has been completed. In the mean time I guess I'll try and hang in there and look into proper cleaning and toning options.
I would suggest not to remove the thyroid. Try the natural techniques I have suggested in this forum, to get the thyroid towards normal function.No glands in the body are useless.
Many years ago I had dermabrasion to get rid of acne scars. My skin was literally sand-papered. The first treatment was quite shallow to determine if I scarred easily. I did not scar. The question for you is how easily you scar.
ve been SO miserable with it. i gained 40 lbs. horrible acne, depression, mood swings and hair loss. (i had a bad reaction to whatever is in it...i'm in that 5% that have issues lol) but from what my ob said is that some cramping, bleeding and what not is normal for up to a few weeks after removal.

I cannot confirm anything without examination, but it can be due to Acne keloidalis nuchae. It occurs when hairs on the back of the head and neck grow into the skin, become inflamed, and cause scar tissue. These ingrown hairs usually occur following a short haircut on the back of the head and nape of the neck.
Treatment of AKN includes suppression of the inflammation with antibiotics and steroid gels or intralesional steroid injections.
I had the Mirena removed after three months. I was reacting in so many ways (acne, awful cramping, low libido, continual spotting, etc). After removal, I had spotting a few days later and then very heavy bleeding suddenly. I felt incredibly faint and went to the hospital. They sent me home and told me I was fine.
Now here I am four weeks post removal and I am having constant cramping (feels like first day period cramps - with no period. It's worse with a full bladder.
For the past five months, i have had small bumps on the shaft of my penis which i believe is sebaceous prominice. (14mths) I had it removed about 4 days before I was due to ovulate, so we could start TTC. The day after removal I had some very heavy bleeding for about 3days. Approx a week later I had some spotting for 2 days on and off. So now I am experiencing some early pregnancy symptoms but with neg HPT results. (acne, vivid dreams, squeamish, slight lactation.) My af is a week late from when I thought it would be due before Mirena was removed.
