acne cyst neck

I got what looks like a cyst on the back of my neck about a year and a half ago and i get what looks like cyst acne on my face and neck and my girlfriend just told me she has a cyst on her armpit it looks like the same thing is this anything serious

Health anxiety is right. This is probably an acne cyst. Just leave it alone and stop fretting about it. It will likely diminish in time.

I have a 'lump' on the back/left side of my neck. It's like a pimple/blackhead, but it hasn't gone away for a long time. Well, the last 6 months or so, I try to squeeze it and only a little fluid comes out (when I say little, I mean very small amount), but it stinks. It stinks REALLY badly. Is this just a pimple/blackhead or could it be more?

Hello.im 21yrs old. i found this bump in the neck underneath my jawline and near my ear. this bump is located in right side of my neck. i dont know where this bump came from because i just found this yesterday while i was washing my face. i think this bump is the size of pea but im not sure. this bump doesnt move and its hard. it dioesnt hurt. do i have to see a doctor?? If so, who should i see ?? Please help me out with this..

I do not have bumps like this, however, I do have acne. I believe this started out like a pimple When looking at it, you notice the pin hole, but that's about it. If it weren't for that, I don't think you would notice it unless you rubbed my arm. It isn't raised. You can feel the bump underneath the skin, more like a cyst. It feels like a ball. I do see my doctor regularly for acne along with depression.

I have had recurring bumps show up on the back of my neck, the top and sides of my head, and around my ears. Occasional bumps rise on my upper back, stomach, buttocks and the back of my thighs. I am looking for help in regards to my 13 year old daughter. She has severe cystic acne for the past 7 months. The cystic acne was just beginning late last year in 2013. The oral antibiotics were of no further help so we started Accutane in Dec 2013. She had the terrible initial flare but it has not stopped!! She started out on Accutane 30mg twice a day and then bumped up to 40mg twice a day. Then dropped to 40mg once a day. She weighs about 155lbs.

Sometime at the end of March or early April I got a bad cold/bad allergy, I also had an acne cyst or an ingrown hair on the center/right portion of my neck. Sometime in all of this I noticed a lymph node was a bit swollen and a bit tender on the right side of my neck. If it wasn't tender, I may or may not have even noticed it. I noticed it was a bit tender when I would wash my face. The tenderness lasted maybe a few days and went away.

I have had this problem for years, with no known reason why/how it began. What happens is I'll first feel a bump or two on my face or neck. They're under-the-skin, non-itchy, painless, skin-colored bumps that swell when I touch (or, guilty, pick!) them and also begin to spread to a cluster. I don't think they're pimples - from what I know, cysts are painful and movable, which these are neither of.

and not to mention exhausted, nausea, oh yes acne; never had that one before but now I have a huge belly and look pregnant with acne!! All in the past few months?? Any help would be greatly apprecriated???

I have a red patch of skin that appears on my neck from time to time. It gets very hot and bright red and stays there for 1-3 hours and then returns to its natural pale color. This usually happens a few times a week. It doesn't seem to be affected by temperature and I haven't been able to correlate it to anything else. The skin itself itchy and doesn't feel dry ... or anything besides really, really warm. Have you heard of anything like this before? Should I be worried?

I few days again, I experenced a pain from the upper part of my neck and it seemed to enter the lower part of my brain. It would throb and got away for a millasecond then come back. As I was in the waiting room of the hospital, my mother was rubbing my neck and she felt a bump on my head. She then asked me if I had fallen and I had confirmed that I had not. I was getting REALLY REALLY bad cyst type of acne when I was having my major ovarian cyst problem. I figured it was my hormones a WEIRDED out! Since I had it removed my cyst type cyst went away. BUT I have a few scars from them, which really stinks! & they HURT SOOOOOO BADDDDDDD! They were GROSS, & mostle on my jaw line & kneck! Ughhhhhh! I have gotten a few small ones while I was on my 2 medicated cycles, but not too bad. Hormones play a BIG role!
