acne cyst chin

I had an acne spot under my chin that took a while to go down, it was under he skin so I couldn't pop it....anyway it eventually subsided but now I'm left with a tiny lump under the skin where the spot used to be...it's difficult to feel most of the time, I have to stretch my neck to feel it and it not visible on the surface at all. I am concerned about it now as its not gone and is still there 8 months or so on from the acne...what could this be?

I was getting REALLY REALLY bad cyst type of acne when I was having my major ovarian cyst problem. I figured it was my hormones a WEIRDED out! Since I had it removed my cyst type cyst went away. BUT I have a few scars from them, which really stinks! & they HURT SOOOOOO BADDDDDDD! They were GROSS, & mostle on my jaw line & kneck! Ughhhhhh! I have gotten a few small ones while I was on my 2 medicated cycles, but not too bad. Hormones play a BIG role!

After three years on it, I began to suffer from bad chin/jawline and back acne, and was menstruating for two weeks at a time. I have now stopped the injection and started on the Qlaira contraceptive/birth control pill, which I know is not especially for improving acne as some are (Yaz, Diane 35), but I want to know how likely this change is to help, as i really am at the end of my tether. I'm about a week into my second pack and so far, nothing has changed - for better or worse.

I j Have been told that youcan have regular cycles and still have pcos. Pretty bad acne especially around my chin. My periods are not painful only on the first day. My cramps extend down my leg to my foot. That is a very weird sensation. I have about four whiskers on my neck.

then why did I get that pain? Additionally, I have been having some acne problems and chin hair... which all pointed towards a cyst.. dont you think so? I am so confused as to what I should do.

Oh thank GOD for this post. My chin broke out horribly and left scars. I never knew why my chin of all places since I never had problems with acne before. I use this clean and clear wash I got from Walmart with benzoyl peroxide in it. It'll dry out your face but I haven't broken out since! I also had backne (god that was terrible and a first).

Need some advice... I'm 32 years old and I've been diagnosed with papulopustular Rosacea a year ago.. Nothing really helped (antibiotics, metro cream, noritate, elides..) until I tried soolantra cream which cleared my forehead, nose and cheeks and almost all of my chin. I was taking orthotricyclen since 15 years and was told to switch to Diane 35 for better results because it seemed to be more of hormonal acne...

It's acne cyst. You have bad bacteria build up, crohn's can be a case of bad bacteria build up in the gut and it will effect the rest of your body as well. If your a girl you will notice before your cycle a burn of which feels like a yeast infection which is not. You get acne and so on. Cut out sugar, and all processed foods. You can kill the bacteria on its own then eat yogurts and take probiotics.

I did have mega acne on one of my cheeks, just under my face on the chin/neck line and on my chin. I Had to explain to several of my students what pimples are! My doctor suggested using a solicic (sp?) Acid face wash so I bought Aveeno and it has worked wonders! It dries out my face so I moisturize morning and night. Now just to hope I don't get any scars!

I just started breaking out badly in my nose and my chin just started idk what todo omgee.

Is anybody else's face and back breaking out really bad? Ive never had acne before.until i got pregnant! Its so embarrassing. What can i do to help it go away?

Hello, I also suffer from cystic acne. My main problem spots are on my cheeks and chin. They had put me on all the same medications as well yet nothing would hell. I ended up getting steroid injections on the site of the cyst and it used to hurt like he'll but within about a day they would drain and disappear. I grew very tired of scarring my face as well as dealing with the pain of the injections.

I have a similar condition on my chin. Redness that would never completely go away and acne bumps that would get quite large and deep filled with puss. I did see a dermatologist and am currently taking Doxycycline which has helped. I was using a Rx cream, but it got too costly and wasn't that effective over time. Oddly enough, I found a home treatment that's helped. After I shower I apply some apple cider vinegar to my chin. Once it dries, I apply 100% aloe vera gel over it.

My little Tommy has specks of black under his chin. He had this when I rescued him about 3 months ago. I thought it was just something that would go away. It looks like flea dannder but it doesn't come off and I don't want to pick at it. I know for sure he doesn't have fleas. Is there something called feline acne? And what is the best way to cure it? He doesn't eat or drink out of a plastic bowl.

The only thing i can think of tht works, is proactive. Pregnancy has also given me horrible acne, like u said, in my chin & mouth area, & on the bck of my shoulders.. ive never really had acne before my pregnancy.. only around tht time of the month i would get like 1 or 2 zits. It effin *****, im sorry.

Hi, I can't go to the student health center until tomorrow and I need some urgent advice. I've had this acne type infection on my chin for a year. I've been to the campus dermatologist once and the nurse twice and have been taking doxy antibiotics and using different topical antibiotic creams but last night an entire huge growth came out and I'm really freaked out about what to do.

I woke to these tiny blisters on my chin...they r getting bigger and some are getting puss like at tip of them. Not acne herpes, burns,but wtf is this an how did I get them..had them 5yrs ago when pregnant with daughter,not pregnant,I'm 37, I'm very self conscious, have been extremely stressed ou for few wks,not eating and can't sleep for days..

I'm an 18 year old female and about a month ago, these bumps which appeared like pimples appeared on my chin. I've suffered from acne in the past so I just assumed it was just that. However the bumps seemed to have multipled and now they're a cluster of dry spots and a larger one in the middle. They don't hurt or itch or anything however I am assuming the worse, they have not released any kind of fluids either.

I have went to several doctors and some say acne, cyts, and just yesturday one said infusion cyst. she stated I need to loose weight it could me that. Im also I have been suffering from acne on my face. In the last month I have gotten at least three or four on my vaginal oh and between my legs like inner thighs....Im freaking out thinking its Herpes or genital warts. They go away. s mostly around my chin and now I have scars on top of acne that make me self-conscious and not want to leave the house without make up. Before I had the Mirena I never struggled with acne, I'm just wondering if the acne will go away if I get it removed? I read some women experience worse acne after getting it removed.
