is it a cream?? If so i used a cream through my 1st trimester when my acne was bad.

What products can I buy to treat my sons acne and would he just need a cream or cleanser as well. He was prescribed Erythromycin by his GP but this hasnt helped.

I have been having this random cluster of red acne like spots on the upper middle of my back. I'm not sure if it's acne or a rash from my laundry detergent? I've been using benzoyl peroxide acne cream but it's still there. It used to be raised a little like acne but now its all flat.

Im not a doctor, however i have taken Differin and i would advise taking it constantly until the prescription runs out. Once it runs out, assess your skin- do you really need to keep taking it?? If this answer is a yes, refill the prescription and keep taking the Differin(In relation to taking it "permanently", i recommend doing this self- assessment everytime you fill the prescription, no matter how long you have been using it).

I have recently had a severe acne breakout. I usually use retinol cream and benzol peroxide spot treatment. These products can not be used durin pregnancy! It was a suprise to me. Every over the counter acne product has benzol peroxide in it. I just thought I would share this info with you ladies. I used the benzol peroxide for 4 days before I found out it isn't safe. I know that acne is a pretty common occurance in pregnancy and there is nothing over the counter that you can use.

I MAKE SURE to take really good care of my skin but it dosent seem to work. Also i have a prescription face medication cream called BenzaClin which is 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl peroxide. Also, i am away at college far from my house so could it be my face isnt use to the water here? Im not sure what else it could be. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to help??? I appreciate the antibiotics, but they haven't done much for me either. But have you tried low percentage retin-a cream? This may be a solution for you. Applied at night, the thin layer of cream can do wonders in a matter of weeks, and over several months, there's a big improvement. I've used it as an acne treatment, and my 50+ age mother uses it for acne, wrinkles, and overall skin appearance. She looks fabulous for her age!

It looks like baby acne in a way but it feels rough to the touch. I thought baby acne was more oily??!? Or am I wrong? I wanted to ask about etinol again, because I am very interested to know whether anyone has used a good strength OTC retinol product like Vichy, Boots or Green Cream (or prescription treitonin, Retin-A). Apply OTC benzoyl peroxide to the face to reduce the oiliness. Apply an antibiotic cream such as erythromycin (erytop) and vitamin A based cream on pimples. Avoid eating oily stuff and Drink 3-4 liters of water a day. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I believe abrasion on my skin causes acne breakouts. Ever since using back scrubbers, acne appeared and left acne scars after disappearing.
