acne

Avatar n tn Starting a year ago i started to get acne. I know thats normal, but alnog with the acne, my face began to burn like a sun burn. now, a year later, not a moment goes by when my face does not burn. Although it burns and is red all the time, certian triggers make it worse. laughing, eating watching tv, heat, meeting new people. Sometimes it will just burn for no reason. i have gone to numerous doctors and dermatologists but no on knows whats wrong. alnog with this, my acne just keeps getting worse.
Avatar f tn Hello, It can be due to contact dermatitis to the Benzamycin cream or fixed drug eruption due to the topical cream. FDE or fixed drug eruption may fade slowly and so may take a long time to go away. Although they resolve spontaneously but an oral antihistamine (e.g., hydroxyzine) and a topical corticosteroid may be needed. I would suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.
Avatar m tn I went to the drug store and they gave me some cream and pills to take, eye drops too. I apply the cream and take a tablet every four hours. My face is swelling more and it's red. The blisters seem to be getting bigger too. Does this mean it's healing or should I seek emergency help.
Avatar m tn Hello, about a week ago i decided that i was fed up with sebaceous prominence on my penis. I have hard that salicylic acid (acne cream) can help reduce the bumps. After trying varoius products i tried "duofilm" wart remover. I saw that it contained the acid and thought it would help. Now i am missing a few layers (like 5) of skin on my penis and it really hurts. What can i do!!?
427801 tn?1203844562 Since the day I started shaving Ive always developed what appears to be a rash (possibly acne) on my neck under the far ends of my jaw bone. I have tried every shaving cream under the sun, and none of them do anything to help the issue. I've also tried only shaving in the direction of hair growth so as to eliminate/minimize the possibility of it being ingrown hairs. Again, that doesn't help. So I've been wondering if maybe I'm allergic to the metal in the razors or something.
Avatar n tn So I went to see a doctor and he told me its a typical case of acne, and gave me a antibacterial soap and cream to use. This, in my opinion, only made things worse. I used to cry when i used the cream cause it stung like crazy and the soap would only make things worse. So i went back 3 weeks later and he gave me birth control and told me to come back in a month. A month passed and nothing changed, so i went to a new doctor.
Avatar m tn Hello, From the symptoms it can be acne or acne keloidalis nuchae. Treatment includes suppression of the inflammation with antibiotics and steroid gels or intralesional steroid injections. So apply antibiotic cream like Neosporin or Bactroban. If the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics and steroids may be needed. So continue using the Minocycline and if the symptoms persist then steroids may have to be added. Please consult a dermatologist in that case. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn They don’t burn or itch, and they haven’t gotten worse (yet). I started a new topical for my acne and I’m not sure if these spots could be an allergic reaction to that or if they are an onset sign of Steven Johnson’s Syndrome. I haven’t experienced a cough or flu like symptoms, but I have been suffering from a headache for about a day and a half. It should be noted that I take a large amount of Advil to help me with my migraines. Please help ease my mind, I’m worried. Thank you.

Avatar f tn So for the past couple of months I've had red areas on my face and I can't get rid of them! I've tried using triple antibiotic ointment, cetaphil, and hydrocortisone cream but the affected areas havent gone away. The location of the red areas is on both ears, in front of each side burn area, the middle of my right cheek, and on my left jaw line. The rash tends to get really red and slightly itchy right after a hot shower or when I am hot.

After the cream was remove the area was inflamed and throbbing. The area is still inflamed, red, throbbing and there is now a pus like substance coating the area. What's going on? Is the pus-like substance normal?

Avatar f tn Only some have white pus filled centers. It hurts to sit on them. Putting acne cream on them burns and the burn then would spreed to my private area so would have to immediately wash off, aka I have sensitive skin. I have been sitting a lot more lately, due to my job. Some are raised and many are marked with a darker red center and lighter red outer orb. I wash with a Luffa and try to scrub any dirt/oil that may be irritating the area but not real improvement.
Avatar n tn Apply OTC benzoyl peroxide to the face to reduce the oiliness. Apply an antibiotic cream such as erythromycin (erytop) and vitamin A based cream on pimples. Avoid eating oily stuff and Drink 3-4 liters of water a day. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Avatar m tn So a few days ago I notices some hair above my upper lip, I was pressed for time and used a one blade razor to shave it off, usually I wax but lately I've been too busy. I can't remember if it was before or after that even but I used a chemical peel maybe a day before and the day of but there were no signs of reaction yet. I only noticed a bump on the outside border of my top lip until after I went to the gym. I had been sweating above my upper lip and wiped it carelessly with a towel.
Avatar f tn hydrogen preoxide will eat away the infected skin. You need special burn cream that helps the skin rebuild (very expensive), or at least polysporin extra strength for burns, as well as oral anti biotics to make sure you don't have an infection in your sinus cavities as well, which could get into your brain if you aren't careful!. I don't know what you were snorting, but it sure wasn't pure cocaine. sounds like it was cut with something nasty!
Avatar n tn ive had these for a day already, and i was hoping i could get rid of them not tomorrow morning but the next morning. its very important. i have some skin care stuff, acne stuff, sun burn and irritation stuff, etc...
