aciphex dry mouth

Yes it does happen with both eyes and i haven't noticed much with the mouth but i will now be paying close attention. I have taken Prilosec, Nexium, Aciphex, and Prevacid up to twice a day at the max dosage. I recently had an eye exam but the doc just said i had dry eye and would need glasses when I hit my 50's. Not real helpful.

He said i could have acid reflux which causes dry cough and sometimes hard to breath. I currently take Aciphex for that and it works but still have bad dry cough. Could it be possibly cough variant asthma?

My husband is taking Aciphex for reflux, yet he continues to have stomach pain, not hearburn. He has recently had an upper GI and nothing was found. Nothing he takes orally helps the pain. What should he do if the specialist can't find his problem.

He recommended I go back on Aciphex or another PPI and to take Benadryl. This seems to make sense. I asked my GI about my hypersalivation problem but he did not know what the cause could be. After the Endoscopy and the H. Pylori visit, the GI doesn't wanted to be bothered. Anyone else have a similar experience?

gerd with hoarse voice from swollen larynx and vocal cords , dry hoarse cough , etc . ...... i did a course of aciphex for 3 mos ...... then was put on ranitadine (zantac) and slowly weened off that . my gerd cleared up , i healed up completely and i felt great .....no side effects . u should ask ur doc about aciphex ....... i tried everything and aciphex is the best ....... let me know what happens ....

i always have acidic test in mouth and throat, whatever i eat or drink test sour. sometime middle of the night i get acidic test in throat. have this problem from many years. need help. i am taking aciphex but not helping much. some time stomuch and chest also burns. had upper gi endoscopy, stomuch lining is inflame. what should i do? please let me know.

My husband was originally on Aciphex, but placed on Nexium after our insurance stopped covering aciphex and he was miserable. Aciphex has always worked so much better for him. Finally, after a year of misery he's back on aciphex and so much happier. I hope it works as well for you.

I've been taking Nexium 40 mg. for about 4 years with no side effects. I was recently switched by my doctor to the generic brand Esomprazole Magnesium & have a very dry mouth. Is it possible it is from the generic med?

Has anyone else been dealing with a severely dry mouth at night? It's driving me crazy.... there's got to be a way to combat it.

I have had dry mouth thru out my whole pregnancy. Some things I find that help is using this mouth wash that is reccomended to diabetics my dad uses it anyways it was in cupboard at home so I use it now and it really helps . the mouth wash is called biotene you can get toothpaste too . I didn't find the tooth paste worked as good as the mouth wash. It is alot more expensive then regular mouthwash but it helps.

t help I would stich my toothpaste with one for dry mouth as well at my mouth wash. They have some for dry mouth. Also I read that cutting back on sugars latter in the day seems to help. A article also talked about chewing sugar free gum before bed or a super free candy to stimulate saliva.

Just wondering, does anyone else get dry mouth even after drinking water? For some reason it happens to me at night!

HELLO, I am 13 weeks and last 3days have had severe dry mouth, I drink tons(gallons) of water a day, but it won't seem to go away. And suggestions on what to do and why I'm having this problem!??

For dry mouth I am using grocery/pharmacy Biotene toothpaste and mouth rinse and it is working wonders , filled with enzymes to lube you during the night. It is safe to swallow, follow the instructions.

My problem is that for the last three days I have been experiencing extremly dry mouth. I am not on any kind of medication and my period started two days after the problem started, is it due to my periods? I should state here that I havenot experienced any thing of this kind before. Thank you.

No dry mouth is not a symptom of HIV. Drink some water if you have a dry mouth.

I have noticed that when I wake up at night to go pee my mouth is so dry that I need to drink water and wear lip balm and when I wake up in the mornings its the same its so annoying it never happened before is this a pregnancy symptom??
