17 year old daughter having stomach issues, just got a positive test for celiac, has bad acne, derm wants to put her on accutane. I am worried about the accutane and her stomach. She is currently on Bactrim and due to go back to Dermatologist tomorrow with suggestion of starting Accutane. She woke up with this acne in mid-December and began taking Vyvanse a few weeks before. Could there be any correlation? I don't want to jump into Accutane if Vyvanse could be causing it but she is so self-conscious.

I went to the doctors and was told that nothing was wrong except that I had very low levels of Iron. I was prescribed iron pills, a spray for my throat and pain killers but I still feel the same. Take accutane, i'm 17 now and went on it when I was 16 and it worked wonders and keeps tje acne away, I had moderate acne and oily skin too....I play Major Junior hockey and it didn't affect my play in a negative bodily way, it boosted my confidence if anything!......I did a 4 month treatment of it on a lower dose so I would reccommend that, higher doses are for sever cases like grade 4 or between 3 and 4.....
