Common Questions and Answers about Accutane photo journal

accutane

Avatar m tn weight loss ( I was up to 160 right before accutane, lost 20-25 pounds in less than 2 months right after I stopped accutane, and am down to 120 currently) I feel like I have no muscle or fat on me. I'm always hungry but I can't gain a pound.
Avatar f tn I was on accutane when I was a teenager, I am now 26 and have been acne free for years. Sudenly I started to break out again. Does accutane stop working years after taking it? Can I take it again?
131114 tn?1380083190 Do you mean upload images of your lab tests? As in the Photo section? I'm not sure these trackers are that sophisticated. I think you have to manually enter the data. I could be mistaken but I'm not sure there is even a way to export or import data - at least there wasn't back when I toyed with the idea of using one of the trackers. There may be a way now though. I hope someone responds to your Q. If not you might want to re-post it here: http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn Comments on your photos show up on your logged in home page. If you look on the right side, you'll see a panel called Notifications. If someone comments on your photo or journal, or leaves you a note, you'll be able to see it there. In addition, we automatically send you an email whenever someone leaves you a note, comments on one of your photos, or comments on one of your journals.
Avatar m tn I am going to try and get on accutane. Does it cause scars? Should I let the spots heal first or should I get on accutane immediately? I have literally tried everything you can imagine. Diets, low glycemic, multi vitamin, salads, low carb, you name it. Cut out all flour and sugar. I get temporary relief and it comes back. I would give a testicle to get away from acne. I have prayed, I have did meditation and all sorts of things.
Avatar m tn I have lattice degeneration which I attribute to accutane, but no doctor or medical journal will accept that. Yet to this day I am suffering due to floaters. Please save your eyes, and dont take accutane unless you are dying from your dermatological condition.
Avatar f tn I see a lot of peoples profiles have pics and if u click on their name it shows that u can private message them or leave a note or view their journal entries ...um how do I myself add my pic or create journal entries...?

483733 tn?1326798446 Maybe it would be a good suggestion for MH to have a box one could check on journal entries so that a member could check the forums they want the entry to show up on? I am a member of four forums...so maybe I would make an entry and only want it to show up on one of those, and my four forums would be there at the start of my entry so I could choose which one it showed in?...Make sense?

365714 tn?1292199108 s set the only way to stop comments is to make the journal/photo private. I guess you can also just copy the contents and make a new journal, but then you lose all the comments even the good ones. ----------- I can see see this feature being abused...say a member posts an offensive journal and locks it.... But that's what the report button is for. There's no need to reply to flames.
Avatar n tn Go to my blog (click on the active blue link by my photo) go to the 35 or so Journal Postings. the last one is on dry eyes.
Avatar m tn I have visited a dermatologist about what I thought was mollescum contagiousum but the Doctor assured me it was just folliculitus - The Dr. prescribed oral antibiotics and creams but nothing seemed to help much. The condition went away on my arms but has lingered and gotten worse on my chest. I stopped seeing the dermatologist as he saw the only alternative was to put me on Accutane - I read up on it and decided that i wasn't willing to permanently dry out my oily skin.
1815939 tn?1377991799 I cannot find the link to his photo, but here is a photo I found which expresses the same sentiment. I think I will send it to Vertex and ask if they would like it for their new logo. (The photo displays what part of me felt like, lol, while on Incivek.) http://www.strangezoo.com/content/item/110706.

Avatar n tn I've only been on Accutane (actually, a generic brand of it) for ten days, and I experienced my first migraine on day 9. I am unsure if the migraine could be connected to Accutane, but I did a little research and some instances of migraines have been reported by Accutane users. I am just uncertain because I haven't been on it very long, but I am already experiencing dry lips, so I suppose I could be experiencing other side effects already, too.
365714 tn?1292199108 Thank you for your consideration. I noticed another: When I hit "watch this journal" It doesn't watch just that one journal. It watches the latest journal the user submits and leaves all journals that person created as "watched" I think it would help if there was a choice to watch just a specific journal or all journals a member submits. I believe the "watch journal" feature should be used in lieu of comments showing on the sidebar.

Many people have hepatitis c and don't know it, so you're lucky you found out.
Avatar f tn Hi. Accutane increases the risk of liver problems so avoid too much alcohol whilst taking this medicine. Eloise.
Avatar m tn Take accutane, i'm 17 now and went on it when I was 16 and it worked wonders and keeps tje acne away, I had moderate acne and oily skin too....I play Major Junior hockey and it didn't affect my play in a negative bodily way, it boosted my confidence if anything!......I did a 4 month treatment of it on a lower dose so I would reccommend that, higher doses are for sever cases like grade 4 or between 3 and 4.....
Avatar f tn They'll either email you promo codes or you'll get free stuff mailed to you.
