Accutane or tretinoin has been used to treat severe forms or nodular forms of acne. However, its drug interactions and the various adverse effects that entail with its use in some patients may require close supervision when using this drug.
Do not self medicate. Inform you dermatologist about this. A complete evaluation of your acne problem is necessary. Other options may be available for acne treatment. The severity and extent of your acne has to be considered here.
To my knowledge, accutane does not have drug interactions with the other medications that you are on. As a patient with MS, you can expect to have the same risks and side effects as other people on accutane, and these side effects and risks need to be discussed with you by your dermatologist before you start taking it. However, I would also run this by your neurologist who manages your MS just to make sure he/she feels that accutane may affect your MS in some way.
I put one in this morning and it went in fine but as soon as it hits 3 pm putting one in is impossible, it’s like my vagina is swollen shut inside. I don’t know what’s causing it. I’m curious if it’s my medicine. I’m on accutane right now and I’ve been having issues with tampons since I started the medicine. I just don’t know if something else is going on. Help?
This morning the pain is still there as is some slight nausea though I was able to eat something. Does anyone know of drug interactions between Anacin and Progesterone? Is there something else it could be?
