I'm taking Trileptal, which is also made by Novartis, without any adverse reactions, but I think the risk of elevated liver functions is the same. There must be something else you can take, though. Your GI and Neurologist can sort it out for you, I'm sure. Best of luck to you!

However, the type of edema associated with Tarceva use is either generalized or involves a swelling of both legs. Swelling in only one leg may not be due to this drug. Unilateral leg swelling may be due to a local infection (cellulitis) in that area.

I've learned to combat the GERD by controlling my diet and eating more raw foods seems to do the trick.

Avatar f tn Delayed adverse reactions to contrast agents do happen. The majority occur 6–12 hours after initial contrast material injection. Reactions are mostly skin rash, skin redness, skin swelling and headache. I guess perhaps your headache could be a late reaction but also from not drinking enough or from anxiety. All other symptoms you describe seem related to anxiety, but that is understandable. Having to go for a CT scan at 8.30 in the evening is something you do not do for fun.
