abscess under right arm

hi i think i have an abcess under my right arm it comes up and then about a week later it goes down it doesnt come to a head though it is red on the outside. i also have a lump in the centre of my right arm pit (same arm as the abcess) is this possible for this lump to be my gland? asif it was aything serius it wouldnt come and g would it!

I had this problem last summer before I found out I was expecting. I promise I feel your pain. I had em like 4 different times. 2 under one, 2 under the other. I had to stop shaving so often. & make sure your razor is clean. I also use witch hazel under my arms after I shave before I put on deoderant. If you need relief, use a hot towel to bring it to a head. Then burn tha tip of a safety pin or a needle and stick it in that middle. You will need assistance because it hurts like hell.

I have a recurring very painful lump under my left arm. I have gotten 3 of these in the past 2 years now. It comes up in the exact same spot on my arm pit. I have had it cut out and drained once, and been on antibiotics every other time. It will go away for a while then it just comes back. I can not wear any time of deoderant, even spray on because it just irritates it even more. Please help.

Hello, I'm 21 years old and about 4 days ago i started feeling some pain in my right armpit. After feeling it, there wasn't much to feel but over the past 4 days it has developed into 3 hard painful lumps under the skin, no discoloration, slightly larger in size than a pea, and increasing in size and pain everyday. Pain feels like a bruise. It's even hard for me to use my right arm to lift things or just lift my arm for that matter.

i have a condition i have sufferd axcillary abscess under both arms for 9 years i am now 24 weeks pregnant and have an abscess under my left arm will this harm the baby in the womb and how can they treat this and what can they give me for pain because this is the 2nd night i have been up all night with the pain many thanks

I know it may sound really strange but I am in so much pain from recurrent abscesses. The abscesses are usually on my leg or in my arm pit and under my breast. I had one in my rectum area too. I had been to the doctors so many times and put on dicloxicillin which seemed to help at the time, yet they still kept on recurring. i don't know what to do.......

hi, 2 days ago i found a lump under my arm in my arm pit. its stayed the same size, it doesnt hurt but its a little tender if i press it hard, its the size of a malteaser .. and its quite hard? i dont feel ill, and its not a spot or an ingrown hair because its on the border of where i would usually shave my arms.. when i lift my arm up you can see the lump clear as daylight .. it doesnt look red it just looks like my normal colour skin have you got any idea what it could be?

a few days ago i noticed a place on my right butt cheek in the middle closer to my hip then the middle of my cheek that goes around to my groin area on my leg there are a few nodules......my doctor measured it it is 26 inches long just unfer the skin few nodules ...it doesnt hurt unless it is touched ...im not running a fever....my doctor has no clue she said she has never ran across anything like it ...is there anyone who might have any clue?

my sister used an iv drug in her arm not sure if the rig was dirty or whats going on there isnt alot of redness but i is swollen under skin more so than on top. feels like a pretty good not. Ive been drained before. I put her on an antibiotic and going to see if that works. is a week two long and it seems to be getting larger but just got antibiotic today.

I went to the drs office, and they went in and cut out two golfball size and a bad abscess. They think it was all an abscess. I had two tubes put in since it was deep in my right armpit.. did a follow up on Friday, got a new tube put in.. today I just got my culture back and not understanding it. I have a follow up with my dr tomorrow. I get my results sent to email and on my online health acct. Do anyone know what this means? I know its best to wait to see the doctor tomorrow.

My fiance is having the same type of symptoms. Numbness and tingling in his right arm from his shoulder to his hand, along with what he says is a crushing pain. He also looses color in his right hand as well. He was told he was having migraine headaches and it could be causing the numbness.
