abscess on bottom of foot

the MRI was done and the results should come back TODAY!!!. The toothpick entered the bottom of the foot but the abscess and pain is on the top, as the puncture wound was that deep. I can hardly wait for the MRI results, and the poor guy is missing basketball on account of all of this.

I am wondering if this could be a ganglion or a cyst I had something similar on my hand also bottom of my foot awhile ago ..It went eventually ...I was told to rub it each day to help it disperse, which I did ..Look it up online ..

I'm very worried about my husband & need some direction. Some background; he went to a Periodontist about a month ago for treatment for gingivitis & had a tooth extraction (tooth 20 I believe), since that time he's had a couple of infections that were treated with antibiotics.

Do they itch or hurt? You can try for a few days putting a topical triple antibiotic on them but if it doesn't start to clear up. If it does continue it for until it goes away. If it doesn't I would see a doctor. It is hard to clear this up because of the area they are in. Wash your hands often and anytime you touch the area as you can spread them easily to other areas. Wash all things that came in contact with the area, underwear, towels , wash rags etc. in hot soapy water.

Please HELP US! My son has these lumps on the bottom of his foot. These lump are hollow, nothing inside of them. They are more like bubbles but they are in a cluster. He had 2 clusters of about 4-6 bubbles in each cluster 2 weeks ago but now he has about 15 bubbles in one cluster, 7-9 bubbles in another cluster, and now the thrid cluster he recently got has about 4 bubbles in it. This is spreading and it's painful! Think of grapes..hollow grapes and thats what it's like!

My 20 month old has "blisters" on the bottom of both of her feet and on her toes. Hello. The other day underneath my tongue on the bottom of my left gum line I felt pain when I pressed on this area with my tongue. A few days later, it is still painful but now a couple of white spots have developed. When I rub my tongue over the sores it almost tastes salty and as if my gum is punctured. What could this be? Am I in need of medical care?

m 31 and have been having a hot sensation on the bottom/inside area right where the arch of my foot is on both feet (usually the right). These have happened about 30 times daily for the last three or four days. Not painful and not warm to touch. There are no other side effects when this happens. My right foot was extremely painful to walk on for awhile, and to say it felt bruised is probably an apt description. It did eventually abate or...... maybe it's the level of Gabapentin I'm on but it's not a great problem now. My left foot has also caused me issues since June but that's more around the ankle itself.
