Common Questions and Answers about Abscess horse treatment

abscess

A) They probably don't know about it, any more than they know what the full effects of the medications they prescribe, and B) Even if they know about the natural treatment, there's no possibility that they can get a financial kickback if you buy the natural treatment. Case in point, fresh raw garlic is a fabulous antibiotic. It stings at first, and it stinks, but it works amazingly well...

The medical stuff has dragged me down a bit. Last year I had a breast abscess and breast cancer treatment plus the ongoing iron deficiency. My cousin also killed himself just before Christmas last year too and there have been significant issues trying to access support. My therapist left the mhs nearly two years ago now. My GP has concerns but is wary as he says the mhs has chewed me up and damaged me.

Well said. Now if only the health insurance that costs me 41% of my pathetic income (all that 18 years of medical "care" has allowed me to attain) would recognize that a Naturopath has it much more in mind to get me un-sick than does an M.D. who wants me to come back as often as possible needing new and more prescriptions, then I'd have a chance to see a Naturopath.
I am 33 years old and up until about six months ago, I was as healthy and strong as the proverbial horse. I found a hard, painful lump in my left breast in July 2010. I was seven months pregnant at the time (with my fourth child), so my midwives thought it was just a plugged milk duct (which apparently does happen sometimes during pregnancy) and had me do all the common treatments at home. The lump spread into a mass.
Dogs are notoriously stoic. A flaming abscess might stop them munching, but a chronic sore gums situation they could get used to, and eat anyway. It sounds like she's holding her own, keeping going in her own way, and not doing so bad. It's great that she's got to 16 1/2 years and still not doing so bad in life. But I can't really suggest anything helpful. A tooth cleaning would be the answer probably -but I totally understand she might not be up to it.
I am still off all med's but the antibiotics. They now think alot of the infection in my system was due to a abscess in my molar and one in my sinus along with the very low WBC..also anemia is still an issue. I go for root canal next week and then back to the Ear-nose-throat doc. I go tomorrow back to my PCP and get new labs drawn for the WBC and RBC etc. I will say that being off the Tx med's for just a week has made me realize just how nasty I was feeling on them !

I'll be waiting to hear the final biopsy report and treatment plan for my sister. Hopefully she'll be able to talk by phone this week (tests left her coughing and sore last week). I might take a stab at teaching the dog to use a sled rather than body board through the backyard snow. She LOVES a long roll in the fluffy fresh fallen stuff. It makes me want to join in sometimes but if I do --- she steals my walking stick!
The only reason I mention dental work is because I felt a rocking sensation after a tooth abscess a few years ago which lasted several days then disappeared. I never found out the cause of the rocking sensation but presumed it was related to the inflammation in some way, leading me to believe whether all these symptoms could be related to TMJ?
Took 4 week post treatment labs yesterday. Praying for continued UND. Felt ok during traetment. LFT nrmalized within 7 days also.
It gently pumps the saline solution into your sinuses, and I don’t know if it pumps saline all the way up into the far reaches of your sinuses, because of gravity, but it follows the same line of treatment expressed here. Neilmed Sinus Rinses squirt saline into the maxillary and ethmoid sinuses. It does not work for infections in the upper sinuses, says so right on the box. It only costs $13 at any local pharmacy. There is also a neti pot, which was demonstrated by Dr.
As with breast cancer (I am slowly learning that there are many different types and not all patients have the same treatment plan for surgery, chemo, radiotherapy and hormone therapy), Crohn's also has many variations and there many different drugs to control a flare and keep the disease in remission. Although I have an anal fistula which leaks watery faeces, I do not have classic "fistulising Crohn's".
i suffer from painful abscess in the groin area. they are so bad that i cannot sit down, lie down or barely walk. i had one removed when i was 19, it was under my clitiros and the size of an orange. it was excruciationally painful and i had it surgically removed. dr said it was the largest and first she had ever seen in that area. since then i get them regularly around diff areas. at the moment i have one on my outer labia, and also one on the fold of your leg/thigh.
tried the normal pt/ steroids, 2 epidurals then broke my left leg and had a c rush injury basically knee down including the foot Jan 2010. I was with a horse at the vet clinic and while the horse was sedated it for some reason tipped over and landed on my leg. I broke both tib/fib and several foot fractures and obviously a bunch of tears and other soft tissue trauma. I developed RSD in that leg as well.
I'm starting to get the same effect. as I was reading the comments I saw a comment that said something about being nerve related and I also have lower back problems as well as neck soreness. Last year I went to see a chiropractor and my spine was shaped like and "s" in stead of being straight. I had a six month treatment which help tremendously. Before I had visited the chiropractor, I was having lots of heart burn and I went to see a doctor for this.
Be sure to freshen up the Castor oil on the knee occasionally, more frequent early on in the treatment while always using the same flannel cloth. My wife just used a piece of her old flannel knightgown. My new Ortho. Specialist believes I have a mechanical problem with my knee joint and is planning on fixing it through arthroscopy. I hope the Castor oil, flannel and ace bandage help you all. God bless...
I experiance these same kind of lacerations. The best treatment I have found is Balmex- a kind of skin protectant found in the pharmacy area with diaper rash items. Other similar products containing zinc oxide were recommended by my doctor but cause intolerable itching.
In 2002 I was riding with a group in the mts when my friends horse kicked at my horse, but got my leg about a quarter of the way up from my ankle. It was an open break with the large broke in two pieces. The Dr. put a titanium rod through the knee through the bone and screwed it in at he top with two screws. He told me how wonderful this was because I left the hospital the next day with no cast and my healing time was supposed to be shorter. OK.
In October, 2007, I developed an extremely sore throat, accompanied by an abscess on my tonsil. At the same time, I found that I could not turn my head side-to-side, nor lift my arms forward, sideways, etc. The Sports Medicine doctor took x-rays, which turned out so poorly, he could not determine whether or not I had a hole in my rotator cuff. I was sent to rehab., whereupon I was told that the tissue in my upper arms was filled with knots, and that my shoulder joints were not frozen.
I too have had some weird out of the blue cramp and shooting pain in the far left side of my breast and it feels like a charlie horse in my left breast bcuz I cannot move for a few seconds even trying to breath makes it worse when I have these occurences. I am two weeks into Doxycycline treatment that will last a month and will follow-up from there. It's a scary yet positive prognosis as with the right doctors I can most likely be treated aggressively and reduce the symptoms I feel on a daily basis. Thank you for reading my story.
Mastitis Gynecomastia Breast abscess Sexual arousal - causes breasts to swell Lymphatic obstruction - may cause one swollen breast Pregnancy other causes of breast lumps, swelling, and breast pain
The fist time I tested positive, I had done the candida treatment. I think it worked because at some point I did the test several times and it was negative. I was so happy. Unfortunately, that did not last. I started having the same signs again, and when I tested it was positive again. And ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using.
