Have you had these symptoms checked out by your GP? Abilify does cause shaking and tremors, and just because your psychiatrist hasn't seen these side effects doesn't mean they aren't being caused by the Abilify. I doubt the Abilify is doing much to help you, it's rare to get this many years out of one medication as our bodies build up a tolerance to these types of medications.

t make any sense is that I am no longer taking Abilify and Im still having these problems and here all along we thought that Abilify was the one causing these allergic reactions Am I having a withdrawl from being off this drug and if so how long before I feel normal again As far as having mood swing, depression and etc well everything is great and I have had no problem with that the only problem Im having is abnormal facial movements, trouble swallowing, dry mouth, a little trouble breathing and

I did some blood test and my thyroid antibodies are not working properly, the other blood tests are not ready yet. Is it possible abilify cause thyroid problems or the drug is causing it not to work properly?

What do you think of abilify? I am on 5 mg , im suppose to increase it slowly to 10mg.....I feel restless all time, no concentration and my appetitie is out of control, I was like this before I started abilify, it got a littl ebetter when I started it now Im back to where I started....there are sexual problems too ......I dont see the dr at the free clinic unitl the 3rd. my doctor has given to me abilify and wellbutrin, is it good for quit smoke and go school well? i cant go school well. i cant stay in classroom. even i cant go to school. i always want to stay at home. i am out of my home, i quickly want to go back my house. also i smoke 3 packet cigarette in a day. also i have serious sleep disorder. i explained my problems to my doctor. then he gave me wellbutrin and abilify combination. what do you think about it?

He needs a significant degree of structure and hopefully his school program is a small, highly structured, self-contained classroom for children who display serious emotional and behavioral problems. He may an increase in his Abilify. By the way, I do disagree with your conclusion that he cannot obtain the help he needs in out-of-home settings. Depending on the nature of the facility, he may well require more inpatient or residential treatment help.

The drug worked wonders but I had problems with bladder while taking Abilify. I could not go to the bathroom.

I started lamectal about 2 months ago and take abilify and trazadone as well. I have lost my hair significantly in the past 2 months. I take Lamectal twise a day 150 mg. Abilify 15 mg & 50 mg of trazadone. I also take 1mg of klonipin as needed. Could any of these be causing it - a combination? Any suggestions? Depression will never go away if I am bald. Please help. I would like to discontinue the one that is causing this.

I have not had problems like that on Abilify whatsoever. Maybe it's just not the right medication for you.

Abilify is an antipsychotic used as a mood stabilizer. It is relatively effective and its usual side effect being that its activating, meaning that it instead of making a person tired it can keep them awake. Quite common and happened to me as well as other people. It would help on bipolar but its doubtful it would help sleep but you could ask your psychiatrist more about this.

It is used under the name of Cogentin for the treatment of Parkinsons Disease.

They put her on Lithium and then added abilify a week later. The abilify gave her horrible side effects and I never want to see my daughter in that condition again! I detest the drug Abilify. It is a reckless drug in my opinion. I have been prescribed Lamictal now for 3 years. It is the right med for me. I am not on the floor with depression and do not gain weight. I wish some could challenge their docs.

I got told by my new counsolor to go back to a phsyc doctor the get my meds reevaluated. I'm bipolar type II and she's thinking my 60 MGS of Cymbalta are doing nothing (I know they're not because I've had a couple thoughts of suicide that passed my mind). Well she's thinking mood stabilizers are a good idea as well. I don't know now if this post goes better in general health or here but I have heart problems.

Last August of 2015 I stopped taking Abilify, after taking it for a year because it caused me to shake a lot, and I was worried about getting tardive dyskinesia. I take Abilify and I haven't had any problems with it. You may need to call your psychiatrist so she/he can change your medication.

Went to docs with unrelated problems but in talking my anxiety was evident and she asked about depression and I told her I wasn't suicidal and no desire to hurt myself or anyone else just was having a difficult time seeing the good in anything. Everyday tasks seemed very hard to do. Zero motivation although i do function well enough to get thru my days. i have never taken antidepressants before I am 33 yo male. She recommended I try meds.
