can an 11yr old have bipolar? My son has been diagnosed with ADHD, mood disorder, and possible Asperger's Syndrome. Lately we are trying to decrease Abilify and titrate Carbotral. So far he is extremely(manic), aggressive and violent in the afternoons. my question i guess is, do mood stabilizers wear off at some point in the day?

But I plan to lower my methadone tomorrow to start trying this to help with the drowsiness so I can be able to take the abilify at the right amount prescribed. So in my opinion it does increase the methadone effects. But doesn't cause withdrawal unless restlessness from the abilify when you wait longer than 24 hrs to take in again.

They took her off the concerta and left her on the abilify because they stated that the Concerta can make children be more aggresive and irritated and she does seem a little more laid back. I am going to try replacing that for a short time with a Fentanyl Patch to see if I have any improvement in Pain Mgmt. I am just wondering what regimen I should use to safely do this. For example. Is it as easy as waiting 12 hrs. after my last Opana ER and then apply the patch (it's a 3 day patch) then take another ER once the 3 days has expired? It has been a horror drug in my family. My brother passed away @51 years. The known blood sugar issues from Abilify made him become very obese and his heart gave away. I am not saying it was solely Abilify but it played a big role. He took it for many years as well.
