I ws on a high dose of Abilify and it put my liver panel out of whack. He took me off of it for a couple of weeks when the panel went back to normal values, then slowly put me back on Abilify still checkng labs againt the dose. I ended up getting it discontnued by weaning off and taking on another psych med, because it gave me motion problems. I don't take that many meds now. I am only on 2 psych meds for now. .

Well, not only did my latest bloodwork show all my blood counts are good, but my liver function is now NORMAL!! Are you kidding me?? Its been a long time since that was the case. I couldnt believe it when my Dr said it. I could definitely get used to hearing that! Add to all that the fact that my side effects are minimal. The only thing I deal with on a regular basis is mild fevers. But Advil usually takes care of it.

Hello everyone. So a little backstory first. I was diagnosed with Graves disease back in 2013-2014. I was put on the methimazole + beta blocker treatment. I went into remission around 2016, when all my labs were normal. So I stopped the meds. Then, March of 2018, Graves was back with a vengeance. All the telltale signs were back, the excessive heat and heart palpitations, I went back to the doctor and back on drug treatment. This time, however, the meds doesn't work whatsoever.

As you have stated in your post you have other conditions and diseases other then hep C and liver disease. I can only comment on your hepatitis C and liver disease. Most of the symptoms you mention are NOT symptoms from your liver disease. So you need good doctors to manage all of your health issues.

Lots of combinations to try and it an be find just the right thing to function. My son was activated on abilify and found seroquel worked for his needs better. The good news is that the activation began immediately so we didn't waste time trying to find out if it would work or not as it wasn't a fit for him. So much of this is trial and error. I won't be trying that one again. I would say for adderal you should be checked out for ADD. You'd mentioned before that you can't concentrate. So, maybe you could try that.

What you experience may be quite different from what everyone has posted. You might take Abilify and find that you have no side effects and it helps you and you will continue to take it. You might find that you get side effects that you can't tolerate and then you will quit it. The only way to find out is by trying it.

I have an AST 46 and ALT 36. Does this indicate liver damage? My AST is 6 above the lab upper limit normal and my AST is obviously higher than ALT.

well stopping like that might be very very dangerous. the first mistake is the use of telbivudine, it is not a first line therapy since genetic barrier is too weak and resistance can arise, if you have resistance or develop it now that youstopped drug all other dugs will respond less and develop resistance soon your feelings are about myopathy which is a side common to telbivudine but has nothing to do with the liver, it is a nervous system problem.
