abilify and clonazepam

I was on seroquel 100mg and citalopram 10 mg for anxiety and panic attaks, and he says I have deperilization so he uped the citalopram to 20 mg and put the seroquel dont too 50mg and added abilify 1mg and clonazepam 0.

I just started Pristiq and Im also on ativan and abilify............wondering if anyone else has taken these meds together.I felt great after taking the pill last night now today im kinda scared and spacey feeling...any thoughts?

I also take Clonazepam and Abilify. My doctor said it could take a minimum of 2 weeks, possibly longer, for my orgasm to return. I fear that it will not! Or that it will take a very long time. Any insights out there?

Talk therapy and CBT will teach you about how to deal with all the symptoms including low self esteem and lack of confidence in yourself and life and will give you good ways of coping. Confidence is a hard thing, but i find doing things i am good at and love builds my confidence and makes me feel better about myself. I took Abilify and Effexor (seperately) as well, Abilify was the last drug aimed at controling my largely depressive BP. It made me feel blah, less deeply depressed, but it gave me the rare side effect of blurred vision! It was taking a dosage of Effexor which gave me my first flamingly manic episode and caused me to be rediagnosed from severe depression to BP.

I am on clonazepam, zoloft, ambien, and abilify. Can this make my birth control pills (Junel) less effective? I had unprotected sex after my period ended on my week off of the pills, it ended early which was strange because it often lasts a long time. I am a day late for my period now.

I've just had Abilify added to my cocktail of Lamictal and Clonazepam, hoping that it is going to lift me out of the current depression. Basic not wanting to get off the couch, go out, brush my teeth, talk on the phone, get out of my nightgown, and feelings of hopelessness. Both Abilify and Quetiapine belong to the same class of drugs and both can cause weight gain. I have only started the Abilify so far on day 3 … I was supposed to start together but I dropped the pristiq bottle and pills fell on floor now because of contamination ocd I can’t take them and insurance won’t pay for a refill yet so doctor says just take the Abilify for now , I’m noticing it is helping me to change my behavior versus the ssri just kinda helped me manage my existing behaviors but never had courage or motivation to change my behaviors so I’m hoping that’s where Abilify will come

Hi I have been on 5 mg of abilify and also klonopin since jan..09.Recently i have been having severe dizziness.,y ear hurt so wen to dr put me on antibotic...Abilify has helped my depression so much but im wondering f it would start causing dizziness after being on it since jan 20 09...

hi im bipolar and have agoraphobia with alot of anxiety. im on 0.5mg of clonazepam. im not doing great without them. any advice would a phycitrist be a better idea ? i also suffer from headaches every day since i was little. im also on zoloft but i dont think its helping and my dr doesnt listen to me help?

Hello, I took abilify for five years, One thing is that when you take ablilify it is added with another medication usually, and i lost all of my hair while taking it but not because of they abilify, it was from the depicote or what ever-eles i took, but after i got off the depecote, my hair grew back my hair is growing now, but if you havent took it very long you may be having other side effects like the shaking, i will say that dose go away and you get very much better..

so where u on 4mg a day of ativan and now u swtiched to clonazepam? if so i think the taper/addition of klonopin/lclonazepam has to be done miticulously. ask RCA/Ryan about this. he as schedules for things like this and for tapering successfully. i know valium is used alot to get people off of clonazepam along with a taper schedule. i'm pretty sure the klonopin isn't causing the shakiness and sweating. it's either withdrawls from the ativan or your underlying anxiety returning.

Did you ask your pharmacist if abilify and ambien and any other meds you might be taking, including OTC meds, might be interacting to cause you to feel like this? Sometimes pharmacists know more about adverse drug interactions than dr's. Just a thought.

I take Effexor with Clonazepam. I take 1 mg of clonazepam in the morning together with Effexor and my anxiety is stable all day long. I even went through a separation which would not be possible if i stayed on my previous meds such as celexa and paxil. You can take Clonazepam before zoloft why not? But if zoloft doesn't work ask your doctor about effexor. Just be carefull because effexor shouldn't be mixed with other antidepressants. Do it only under your doctors supervision.

Are you saying you were put on Abilify before you were put on Celexa? Because if you've only been on Celexa a few days, Abilify wouldn't be appropriate. It's only a last resort medication because of its side effect profile and because it isn't known to work by itself, only in combination with another med. If, for example, you have depression, and you're on medication and its helping but not quite enough and you've tried everything else, that's what Abilify is for.

When I looked up weight gain and bipolar medications, Abilify was at the bottom of the list for weight gain, Geodon people gained the least then Abilify. I'm on 2mg. of Abilify and in the begining you tend to feel sleepy, that's why they start you on it at bedtime. I would be surprised if Abilify caused a racing heart but you definately have to tell your doc about that. I was also on Wellbutrin and had to come off because it caused to much anxiety.

Now the abilify, I was suppose to increase from 2 mg today to 4mg, I wanted to tknow if 2 mg was a thereaputic dose and also can I take have of that and take 1 mg since Im so sensititve and that might work, Its been keeping me up at night the abilify, makes my mind and body racy and alert...Waiting for my dr to call back, but sometimes that doesnt happen......
