Many years ago (i'm also female of your age) for my stomach issues, which I've had all my life, one incident at work, brought the ambulance and fire department and I was admitted to the hospital for such horrible stomach pains they thought it was a heart attack) my gastro doctor said, "take the recommended dosage of psyllium fiber (like metimucil) every day and you will be much much better. I did and do and for some years now, very seldom do I have stomach pain.
ve woken up in the morning with severe abdominal pain in my right side, almost like menstrual cramps but burning, and a dull ache on the right side of my back. The pain brings me to tears and I need a hot water bottle and two panadols to ease the pain. It's never happened after drinking before, only the two times. Help!
During the past 3 months I have suffered from acute abdominal pain located in my upper to mid left back, front and around my abdominal section. The pain is constant but at times it gets worst especially after eating. The pain is also accompanied with a constant headache that will not go away even with Tylenol. I have severed nausea with no vomiting. I am also for the most part constipated and have lots of gas. I feel weak and I also feel like I am fainting at times.
Five days ago she started to have sever pain in her head and stomach. went to ER did cat scan nothing was found she continues to have pain went back to dentist nothing found he told her it could be some thing that needs an ENT, She is in sever pain still she was given lora tab which only makes her very dopey,and she still has pain,Please help.
Now, I still have this reoccurring pain on my stomach and abdomen area. It starts out like something is wrapped around my stomach, then later my lower right abdomen would start to hurt; The pain would just stay on my abdomen. This goes away after hours. It's accompanied by overall weakness, and nausea. Then, I lose my appetite. I think it's gotten worse over the years, but I just sleep through it. Though, now it hurts quite frequently, especially when stressed.
For the last few years, I have had reoccuring right upper abdominal pain. It is colicky in nature. I might have it for a few days and then not get it again for months. It is in a very small area near where my abdomen and lower rib cage meet. When it happened two years ago, my Dr. sent me for bloodwork, an abdominal u/s and HIDA scan. Everything was normal so he told me it was probably nothing. It started again recently so I went back to the Dr. The U/S and HIDA scan were normal.
i have had this shooting pain in my stomach for about three weeks. i can't seem to find out what it may be. it's so bad i double over in the floor. i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. it's not just in one spot it's all over my stomach. thanks.
Hi, I am female and 17 years old. For the last few years I have had pain in the upper abdomen/ directly between and below my ribcage. The pain usually lasts at least a half an hour, sometimes longer, and I have problems breathing deeply. When I push between my lower ribs/ upper abdomen it is painful. It also occurs when I have been laying on my stomach for a little while, and I have to roll over because of the pain.
What could cause this?
I've been wondering if anyone here can help. So i'm a 16 year old female who just returned to Canada from Hawaii about 4 days ago. I tend to generally get nausea a lot due to me being anxious about pretty much everything but ever since like 3 days before I left to go home my throats started to occasionally get sore (the soreness lasted like 40 seconds) and i'd always get a feeling like I have a lump in my throat.

Bf is having severe lower right stomach pain ,throwing up yellow substance, sweats, no appetite...was diagnosed with gerd but hospital didn't really do any test to see if it could possibly b anything else n these medications are not working ...he does not sleep...help wIth what this could b this doctor is not helpful....
I had been having mild stomach pains and mild bloating it felt like in all quadrents of my abdominal, about 3 weeks after possible exposure( sexual intercourse with female unprotected). After doing research the only thing that could explain my symptoms was hepatits, so I went and got a blood test done. It was confirmed that I have hepatitis b... The doctor didnt really explain what I was to do.
The general area I can feel this is below the waist right where the hem of your underwear sit. So like the top of the pelvis? And maybe a little lower.
It feels like a heart beat sort of. I get similar feelings in my legs or side sometimes which I just attribute to being able to feel my pulse. It's a little concerning having it near my pelvis though. It just happened to me a few times, felt a little stronger than when I've felt it before.
Our GI has diagnosed her with Functional Abdominal Pain. As he describes it, he says that she is registering normal abdominal functions as painful events.
She is in most pain first thing in the morning. She has been taking Prevacid for 5 weeks now with no reduction in pain. There is no pattern to the pain. It can flair up at any moment.
Is this a real diagnosis? Does it make sense? How do we help control the pain? Are there other things we should be doing or testing for?
Has any doctor suggested it's an intussesception? It's not uncommon in children, but kind of rare in adults, and because of that, can be hard for a doctor to identify and sort from other possibilities. However, I now have intermittent constipation and diarrhea, itchy and runny nose, I have seen more large white squares in my stool, I have now got abdominal pains, including cramping in the lower abdomen, painful niggles in; lower abdomen, right flank and now a tightness under my right rib where I can also feel some kind of lump which I think may be my gallbladder. Its sore mostly when I eat. My stomach makes a lot of growling and high pitched noises too.
