Avatar f tn It was similar to a time I woke up in the middle of the night from severe lower abdominal pain but when it went away I fell back to sleep, it came back about an hour later but this time when I sat up I vomited, I fell back to sleep after but again a couple hours later the pain was back, but this time I had diarrhea. Last night, though I didn't get up at all its almost like it hurt too much to move so my boyfriend just rubbed my stomach til I fell asleep.
Avatar n tn I am a 33 year old female that has been having abdominal pain since September. Had my gallbladder out in September. I was feeling fine until three weeks after they took it out. The pain came back. It is in the middle, left and right side of my abdomen and radiates to my back. They did a ultrasound of my abdomen and saw nothing. Dr. said when he took my gallbladder out, he looked around in there and say nothing. Does anybody have the same symptoms? I want my gallbladder back!!

Avatar m tn I have started having some very tense pressure and discomfort and very uncomfortable in my abdomen. I also am having some intense, stabbing pain in the middle to upper abdomen and on a scale 1 to 10, I would say it is about a 8 or so, happens 20 times or so a day I also get a burning sensation off and on in the middle of abdomen.. I do get some pain in my neck, shoulder and collar bone but not sure if any of this is related to my other issues.
Avatar m tn Your appendix is in the lower right part of your abdomen and quite often, the pain of appendicitis will start in the middle of your stomach (around the belly button) before "settling" more in the appendix area. If you start running a fever, the pain increases, you're vomiting or have severe nausea, I'd definitely consider going to the local ER for evaluation. With your past surgery, it's also possible that you've developed adhesions, which definitely can be painful.
Avatar m tn i was sitting with my wife having a glass of wine and all of a sudden intense pain in the middle to right upper side of my abdomen. The pain then like I said went to my shoulder/shoulder blades and down my arms. It lasted about 5 minutes max and then it calmed down. Like I said I do not believe it to be heart related, my most recent EKG was 3 weeks ago when I went to see my Dr. That is when he found the high blood pressure and the prostatitis. EKG was as normal as it usually is.

Avatar f tn Question Are other experiencing abdominal pain? I have had constant abdominal pain for 13 months. It is a burning sensation that is about a level of a 6 (on 1-10 scale) when my bowels are almost empty (I often only drink water for a couple of days to get the pain down to that level. It is currently the level of an 8. It's so bad I wish I could just curl up into a ball & die, but I continue on for my 2 young kids. It is from the bottom of my ribs to my pelvis.

Avatar n tn After my husband eats he gets pain in his upper abdominal pain across the entire area just below the chest?
Avatar f tn About 3 weeks ago I started feeling pressure in my upper middle abdomen that spreads from side to side. If you can imagine it starts at the side of one rib (under arm) and spreads to the entire side. Sometimes it feels like a rubberband around my waist. The main pressure is directly in the upper middle. I also have periods of dull sharp pains all over my abdomen with the right rib (under breast area) having the most ache, pain. But sometimes it is identical in both rib areas.
