Anyways, since i lost all this weight, my body has changed and i'm much thinner but sadly i still have some untone muscle and skin on my stomach and little flubber on my upper upper inner thighs. Daily I run anywhere from 3-6 miles and i do three sets of crunches, "russian twists", planks, and lunges.
Avatar f tn Same situation as you! Don't listen to all this dieting crap. There are se fab ab workouts on YouTube or just make up some of your own! Cut out lots of sugar but don't deprive youself! On demand also has some workouts you'll love.

Avatar n tn Those ab ligaments are easy to pull while you have the relaxin hormones and closer to the end you definitely want to lay off the ab workouts. On the plus side, you can start again right after a natural birth, but not a c section.
Avatar f tn CARDIO! doing ab workouts doesn't do anything until you burn that fat layer off. My favorite a cardio is freestyle laps in a pool for 30 min. Running is boring but you want to sweat a lot.

Avatar f tn I usually stop situps and hard ab workouts at the 2nd semester. You want those muscles strong, but not inflamed. Light plank holds and exercise ball workouts are good. Plus I find its really easy to oull an ab with all the relaxin and round ligament pain. Let you abs relax drink something with some sugar and see if he gets moving around again.
Avatar f tn That's not true. If you look at pregnancy workouts they always do that stretch in the beginning of workouts haha. I workout everyday and all I know I can't do is on my back abs.

Studies show that the best results for your toning is by changing the routine of your workout, so do a different ab video,everyday! Also for some people every other day of working out shows better results. That's up to you! For a diet there are certain foods like pine apple that supposedly take away blotting in the stomach. Avatar n tn I have eliminated any kinds of ab workouts, I do a quick simple arm and leg routine and then do 2o min on my elliptical. Some days I am all full of energy and have to remind myself that I set a time limit for a reason. Other days, I don't feel like doing anything! My lil workout is how I end the day. The kids are in bed, so is my so. I clean then I take my workout as some me time. Then shower and bed. Lol, it is almost 1am and I am still trying to convince myself to just do it.

Avatar f tn I had a c-section but when I hit my 6week healing mark I ran everyday for 6 weeks straight but around 4 week post baby I started doing ab workouts. I snapped back to my pre pregnancy size 12 weeks post baby. I also ate really healthy to help me get back there.
Avatar n tn Starting from arm workouts (using 5lb weights and resistance bands) then followed by workouts that can be done at home later. (Squats, dips, etcetera ). I was not every active pre pregnancy but I would like to keep my body tight. Will this do any harm to my unborn? Thanks.
Avatar n tn Hey everyone. I was looking for an ab workout routine on the internet and I came across one of those old 'Eight Minute Abs' videos on Youtube. It was basically just eight minutes of different types of crunches so I figured it was as good a place as any to get started. So, I did the routine and I did, in fact, feel the burn so to speak in my abs. I'm in moderate physical shape and it was a bit difficult getting through the whole eight minutes, so I guess that's a good thing.

Avatar f tn This is weird but I did boxing and crunches and other type of ab exercises all the way up until 7 months, it depends on pre level of exercise but i didnt show for a VERY long time i was pretty toned, so I'd say squats back workouts ,YouTube has so many good workouts for pregnant women u can watch if u dont kno how to do them... And eating healthy , i only gained like 10bs ,in my pregnancy... but everyone is diff, the more your active the quicker you get back in shape..

395769 tn?1318449682 NO AB WORKOUTS THAT YOU HAVE TO LAY ON YOUR BACK! power walking and light weight are perfect. Nothing that deals with jumping or jerking your body. OH and def no squats!!! but you can do the standing leg squat with a chair in front of you.
