Avatar n tn I usually do my at night too once the kids are in bed. I haven't taken out my ab workouts yet just continuing to do my usual things! I usually do cardio then a mixture of weights on different body parts. I ride my indoor bike and still do my boxing with my bad which has quite a bit of an abdominal workout.

Avatar f tn Same situation as you! Don't listen to all this dieting crap. There are se fab ab workouts on YouTube or just make up some of your own! Cut out lots of sugar but don't deprive youself! On demand also has some workouts you'll love.
Avatar f tn But I started running 1-3 miles everyday with my little one in a jogging stoller for a month and a half. I ate healthy and did crunches and obliques along with lemon squeezers. I went down to a size 2 and I was a size 5 before that pregnancy. I will be doing the same after this pregnancy.

Avatar n tn Those ab ligaments are easy to pull while you have the relaxin hormones and closer to the end you definitely want to lay off the ab workouts. On the plus side, you can start again right after a natural birth, but not a c section.
4331946 tn?1355816857 obviously all your muscles are connected one way or another. however try to use as little of your core as possible. no hardcore ab workouts. my mom kept up with me nd my older bro with our workouts all throughout her pregnancy and now she has muscle separation in her abdominal muscles. like a literal separation between the two sides of her abs. nd after giving birth, she couldn't work her abs for over six months until her muscles heal.

Avatar n tn Hey everyone. I was looking for an ab workout routine on the internet and I came across one of those old 'Eight Minute Abs' videos on Youtube. It was basically just eight minutes of different types of crunches so I figured it was as good a place as any to get started. So, I did the routine and I did, in fact, feel the burn so to speak in my abs. I'm in moderate physical shape and it was a bit difficult getting through the whole eight minutes, so I guess that's a good thing.
Avatar f tn That's not true. If you look at pregnancy workouts they always do that stretch in the beginning of workouts haha. I workout everyday and all I know I can't do is on my back abs.
Avatar f tn I usually stop situps and hard ab workouts at the 2nd semester. You want those muscles strong, but not inflamed. Light plank holds and exercise ball workouts are good. Plus I find its really easy to oull an ab with all the relaxin and round ligament pain. Let you abs relax drink something with some sugar and see if he gets moving around again.

Studies show that the best results for your toning is by changing the routine of your workout, so do a different ab video,everyday! Also for some people every other day of working out shows better results. That's up to you! For a diet there are certain foods like pine apple that supposedly take away blotting in the stomach. I sprinkle ab and arm workouts in there as well. on September 28th I weighed 153.4 lbs and a month later (today) I weighed 156.4 lbs. How is it that I have gained 3 lbs in one month with the eating and fitness schedule I am on??
Avatar n tn Hi! I am on a diet at the moment because I want to lose just under a stone. I weigh 7.2 stone and am 5 ft 4". I exercise all day everyday by running, walking, ab workouts, cardio, aerobics and dance. However every time I lose a lot of weight, I gain it back on through eating carbs and calories. So, I decided to work off more calories than I actually eat. However, this makes me weaker so I need some alternatives that have basically no calories but are still substantial.

Avatar f tn I had a c-section but when I hit my 6week healing mark I ran everyday for 6 weeks straight but around 4 week post baby I started doing ab workouts. I snapped back to my pre pregnancy size 12 weeks post baby. I also ate really healthy to help me get back there.
